Netflix Unveils Trailer, Poster for Romantic Comedy ‘Our Sticky Love’ Ahead of Premiere

Netflix has released the official trailer and main poster for its upcoming romantic comedy Our Sticky Love, offering a first look at the unconventional love story between Jung Hae-in and Ha Young ahead of its August 7 premiere.

The eight-episode series follows Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), a prosecutor who wakes up with no memory of her past, and Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae-in), a boxing coach who unexpectedly claims to be her boyfriend. As the two begin living together in a quiet rural town, what starts as a confusing arrangement gradually develops into an unlikely romance.

Romance begins in an unfamiliar town

The newly released trailer introduces viewers to Taffy Village in Gujin-gun, where Eun-sae regains consciousness in a small-town hospital with no recollection of who she is. Before she can piece together her identity, Tae-ha arrives and calmly tells her that they are a couple.

Confused by his claim and unsettled by the unfamiliar surroundings, Eun-sae struggles to believe him. The peaceful village, lined with traditional taffy shops and quirky residents, feels far removed from the life she remembers—or thinks she remembers.

Despite her skepticism, Tae-ha’s patience and unwavering kindness gradually begin to break down her defenses, hinting at a deeper connection between the two.

Mystery accompanies the romance

While the series leans into romantic comedy, the trailer also teases an underlying mystery.

Just as Eun-sae begins warming up to Tae-ha, he warns that they must keep their relationship hidden, suggesting there is more to their story than either of them is ready to reveal.

The series raises questions surrounding Eun-sae’s lost memories, Tae-ha’s true motives, and the events that brought them together.

Director teases a heartfelt love story

Director Kim Jang-han described Our Sticky Love as a comforting romantic comedy centered on two people brought together by unexpected circumstances.

“It’s a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy,” Kim said. “It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet Korean taffy. The series’ irresistible charm will leave you unable to pull yourself away, just like getting stuck to Korean taffy before you even realize it.”

Our Sticky Love premieres August 7, exclusively on Netflix.
