Lenovo is expanding its gaming portfolio with new LOQ Essential laptops, a LOQ Tower desktop, and two Legion gaming monitors, giving first-time PC gamers more accessible hardware while adding higher-performance display options for competitive players.
The new lineup includes the LOQ Essential 15IPH11, LOQ Essential 15IRH11, LOQ Tower 17IRH11, Legion 27Q-20, and Legion 27U-20.
LOQ Essential brings PC gaming to a wider audience
Lenovo is positioning the LOQ Essential range as the entry point to its gaming ecosystem, with configurations designed for users who need a machine for gaming, schoolwork, content creation, and everyday multitasking.
The LOQ Essential 15IPH11 takes a different approach to graphics performance by pairing Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with integrated Intel Arc graphics and a unified memory architecture.
Instead of assigning a fixed pool of memory exclusively to graphics, the system can dynamically allocate shared memory between gaming, streaming, and creative applications depending on workload.
The integrated Intel Arc graphics also support hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Intel XeSS AI-powered upscaling, while an integrated NPU handles local AI processing for supported applications.
LOQ Essential 15IPH11 prioritizes portability
The 15IPH11 is designed for students and gamers who need to carry their PC between home, school, and other locations.
Lenovo says the integrated architecture can reduce the additional power and thermal requirements associated with a discrete GPU, enabling up to 21 hours of battery life.
Its 15.3-inch 16:10 display can be configured with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage.
The laptop is also 10% lighter and slimmer than its predecessor and supports Thunderbolt 4, including 65W–100W USB-C charging. Dual memory and SSD slots provide additional upgrade flexibility.
15IRH11 adds dedicated RTX graphics
For users who want dedicated graphics, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 pairs Intel Core 200 series processors with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.
It retains the 15.3-inch 16:10 display with up to 165Hz refresh and 100% sRGB coverage, while also receiving the 10% reduction in weight and thickness compared with its predecessor.
The laptop uses an otherwise understated design with transparent purple accent keys, giving it a subtle gaming identity without turning the chassis into a conventional RGB-heavy gaming machine.
LOQ Tower offers an upgradeable desktop option
The LOQ Tower 17IRH11 targets gamers who want a prebuilt desktop without giving up the ability to upgrade components later.
It can be equipped with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, up to 32GB of 5600MT/s DDR5 memory, and a PCIe Gen4 SSD.
The desktop uses Lenovo’s Easy Upgrade Access design, allowing users to add or replace components without the complexity associated with building a gaming PC from scratch.
Additional storage expansion, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and selectable thermal modes further position the tower as a platform that can grow alongside a user’s gaming library.
Cooling uses a concealed air-duct design intended to balance performance and acoustics, while the system also includes Legion Space and Nahimic by SteelSeries software.
Legion 27Q-20 pushes QHD gaming to 320Hz
For gamers further along the performance ladder, Lenovo is also introducing the Legion 27Q-20, a 27-inch PureSight Fast IPS gaming monitor built around speed.
The QHD 2560 x 1440 display runs at a native 320Hz refresh rate, with a 1ms GtG response time and 0.5ms MPRT.
It supports AMD FreeSync Premium, Adaptive Sync, and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technologies to reduce tearing and stuttering during fast gameplay.
Lenovo also includes Focus View, which creates a 24.5-inch competitive viewing area by darkening the sides of the display, replicating the screen format commonly used in tournament play.
Legion 27U-20 offers 4K and 360Hz in one monitor
The Legion 27U-20 takes a more flexible approach with a Dual Mode display.
Users can run it at UHD 3840 x 2160 at 180Hz for high-resolution games, or switch to FHD at 360Hz when responsiveness matters more than resolution.
The monitor also supports Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, along with an integrated USB hub for connecting peripherals and other devices.
Both Legion monitors cover 99% of sRGB and 95% of DCI-P3, with factory-calibrated Delta E < 2 color accuracy. They also carry VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and offer 400 nits of brightness.
