ENC 2026 launches Rankings, Team Builder ahead of global roster reveal

The Esports Foundation has introduced two major systems for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 with the ENC Rankings and the ENC Team Builder designed to structure qualification pathways and increase fan engagement ahead of the tournament’s debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The new framework connects player performance, national rankings, and roster construction across more than 150 countries and territories competing in 16 esports titles. The ENC 2026 is scheduled to run from November 2 to 29 in Riyadh.

ENC Rankings turn performance into national standings

The ENC Team Rankings system aggregates competitive results from major international tournaments to generate national standings.

Player and team performances are converted into ranking points, with team-based titles using roster-based scoring and individual esports contributing at the player level. These rankings determine which countries and territories secure direct invitations to the ENC Finals.

Current standings are based on projected “highest possible” roster combinations ahead of official submissions. The Esports Foundation will update the rankings at the end of May to reflect only confirmed lineups and verified points.

Rankings will continue to evolve through ongoing qualification events until final cut-off dates, when invitations to ENC 2026 are officially locked in.

Team Builder lets fans simulate national lineups

Alongside the rankings system, the ENC Team Builder platform allows fans to construct theoretical national rosters across different esports titles.

The tool connects directly to ranking data, letting users test lineup combinations and see how player selection impacts a country’s qualification chances. Fans can also generate and share “dream teams,” creating a more interactive layer of engagement around national esports representation.

According to the Esports Foundation, the goal is to make the qualification process more transparent while giving the community a clearer view of how performance translates into international opportunities.

Structured qualification across 100+ countries

The introduction of ENC Rankings and Team Builder follows earlier rollout steps for ENC 2026, including the appointment of national coaches across more than 100 countries and the confirmation of a 16-title competitive lineup.

The system is expected to involve over 100,000 players globally through regional and international qualification pathways.

The ENC Team Builder is already live, while roster submissions are expected by the end of May. Final ranking updates and cut-off adjustments will determine which nations secure direct invitations to the Esports Nations Cup Finals in Riyadh.

With structured rankings and interactive roster simulation now in place, ENC 2026 moves closer to a more data-driven qualification era for nation-based esports competition.
