Level Infinite unveils gamescom 2026 lineup featuring CONTROL Resonant, Dune: Awakening, and more

Level Infinite has revealed its lineup for gamescom 2026, bringing a mix of returning franchises, upcoming releases, and exclusive hands-on experiences to the annual gaming event in Cologne, Germany.

Visitors can find the publisher at Hall 6.1, Booth C071-A070, where multiple titles from its global partner studios will be playable throughout the event, alongside community activities and exclusive giveaways.

CONTROL Resonant makes public debut

Leading the lineup is CONTROL Resonant, the upcoming action RPG from Remedy Entertainment, which will be playable by the public for the first time ahead of its worldwide launch on September 24, 2026.

The sequel to the award-winning Control puts players in the role of Dylan Faden as they explore a paranaturally distorted Manhattan, combining supernatural abilities with a shape-shifting melee weapon while battling the Hiss, the Mold, and other reality-warping enemies.

The game is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dune: Awakening arrives on consoles

Fans will also get their first opportunity to play the console version of Dune: Awakening during gamescom.

Developed by Funcom, the open-world survival game lets players explore the harsh deserts of Arrakis while engaging in exploration, crafting, and survival mechanics. Visitors can also take part in a themed photo opportunity inspired by the game’s universe.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 previews new event

Hunt: Showdown 1896 will showcase an upcoming in-game event through a playable hands-on preview.

Attendees can meet the development team, collect exclusive in-game rewards and merchandise, interact with cosplayers, and take photos beneath the event’s Blood Moon installation.

Content creator Raptobot will also appear as a never-before-seen Hunter during the event, while members of the press will receive an exclusive preview of a new major enemy through a dedicated press kit.

Mystery title and fan activities

In addition to its announced lineup, Level Infinite confirmed that visitors will be able to play a currently unannounced title, with more details to be revealed closer to gamescom.

The publisher’s booth will also feature community activities, including the Wheel of Infinity, where attendees can win exclusive prizes, themed photo opportunities based on featured games, and other interactive experiences throughout the exhibition.
