Acer is expanding its smart mobility lineup with the Predator ES Thunder Pro, a new electric scooter designed for longer commutes and tougher riding conditions.
Unveiled at Acer’s next@acer global press conference in Berlin, the e-scooter combines a 500W rear-wheel-drive motor with a 1,600W peak output, a 70-kilometer claimed range, traction control, and connected features designed to make everyday riding safer and easier.
Predator ES Thunder Pro delivers 1,600W peak power
The Predator ES Thunder Pro is the most powerful model in Acer’s Predator e-scooter lineup, with a 500W rear-wheel-drive DC motor capable of producing up to 1,600W of peak power and 32Nm of torque.
Acer says the scooter can handle gradients of up to 28%, giving it enough power for steep roads and varied terrain. The upgraded powertrain is designed to provide smoother acceleration while maintaining control during climbs.
The scooter can travel up to 70 kilometers on a single charge, making it suitable for longer commutes and frequent daily use.
TCS, off-road tires and IPX6 protection
Acer equipped the Predator ES Thunder Pro with a Traction Control System (TCS) that adjusts motor output based on road conditions. The system is designed to improve traction and stability, particularly on wet or low-grip surfaces.
The scooter also uses 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires, giving it added capability beyond typical city riding. An IPX6 water-resistance rating provides protection against high-pressure water exposure, while front daytime running lights improve visibility during the day and at night.
Side-mounted RGB ambient lighting adds another lighting element while reinforcing the scooter’s gaming-oriented Predator aesthetic.

Find My, Find Hub and AI voice controls
Beyond its hardware, the Predator ES Thunder Pro adds connected features through the Acer eMobility app.
Users can monitor the scooter’s battery level, vehicle status, and riding data in real time. The app also provides controls for electronic locking, lighting, and other device settings.
Acer is also integrating location tracking through both Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, allowing owners to locate the scooter through either platform.
The eMobility app further supports AI voice controls, enabling users to perform tasks such as checking the battery level, controlling the lights, and locking or unlocking the scooter through a connected smartphone or smartwatch.
The Predator ES Thunder Pro is scheduled to launch in Europe in Q1 2027, with a starting price of €799. Acer has not announced Philippine pricing or availability yet. Specifications, pricing, and launch schedules may also differ between markets.
