Acer Day marked its 10th anniversary with one of its biggest Philippine celebrations yet, drawing more than 8,500 fans to the Araneta Coliseum as Acer also commemorates its 50th year as a technology company.
The September 2026 celebration brought together music, fitness, and lifestyle activities under the theme #ShiftTheGame, with Acer encouraging young consumers to step beyond familiar routines and explore new ways to approach work, culture, and play.
SB19 headlines Acer Day concert
The centerpiece of the celebration was a concert at the Araneta Coliseum headlined by Acer ambassadors SB19.
The lineup also featured 6cyclemind, Hey June!, El Manu, Jessy Kang, Dionela, Fitterkarma, and Earl Agustin, while Janine Berdin and Jose Mari Chan made surprise appearances.
Jose Mari Chan added a holiday touch to the event with a performance of “Christmas in Our Hearts,” while host Luis Manzano guided the crowd through the evening.
#ShiftTheGame expands Acer Day beyond music
While music remains central to Acer Day, the 2026 edition expanded the celebration into fitness and lifestyle activities.
The shift reflects Acer’s growing presence in lifestyle categories beyond its traditional computing products, including Acerpure home appliances and its recently introduced line of Acer luggage.
The company’s Acer Electric AI Night Run kicked off the wider celebration on August 1, combining fitness with Acer’s technology-focused branding.
“Acer is constantly evolving to stay relevant to what our customers are passionate about, and that’s reflected in how Acer Day has grown to include both music and fitness,” said Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines.
A decade of Acer Day
Acer Day has become an annual event for the brand’s Philippine community, but 2026 carries additional significance with the celebration coinciding with Acer’s 50th anniversary.
The company used the milestone to broaden the event beyond a traditional product-focused gathering, incorporating entertainment, fitness, and lifestyle experiences into the celebration.
For Acer Philippines, the 10th Acer Day also serves as a reflection of how the brand has evolved alongside the interests of its customers.
“As we mark 50 years as a brand and 10 years of Acer Day, we wanted this celebration to be bigger and more meaningful than ever,” Ong-Lim added.
Acer Day celebrations continue through September
The Araneta Coliseum concert was only one part of Acer Day 2026.
The celebrations will continue until September 13, when Acer hosts the Music Run, billed as “Asia’s Fittest Party,” at the SM MOA Complex.
With music and fitness now both firmly part of its annual celebration, Acer Day’s 10th anniversary reflects the company’s broader push to connect its technology brand with entertainment, wellness, and everyday lifestyle experiences.
