Acer Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation supports AI models up to 120B parameters

Acer is bringing high-performance local AI computing to a compact form factor with the Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation, a Windows 11 Pro system designed to handle AI inference, content creation, development, and other demanding workloads.

The workstation pairs an Intel Core Ultra X7 processor 358H with Intel Arc B390 graphics, up to 96GB of LPDDR5X memory, and up to 4TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

Acer says the system can support AI models with up to 120 billion parameters, while its OCuLink interface provides a path to additional GPU and storage performance.

Veriton RI110 targets local AI workloads

The Veriton RI110 is designed for organizations and professionals that want to run more AI workloads locally rather than relying entirely on cloud computing.

Its Intel Core Ultra X7 processor 358H and Intel Arc B390 graphics provide the foundation for AI inference, development, design, and content creation. With up to 96GB of memory and 4TB of storage, the system can also handle large datasets and complex creative projects.

As a Copilot+ PC running Windows 11 Pro, the Veriton RI110 also includes Microsoft’s suite of AI-powered Windows features for productivity and content-related tasks.

The compact workstation is designed to balance local processing with cloud resources, giving organizations more flexibility over where workloads are executed.

Acer Qubi Claw brings agentic AI to the desktop

Acer is also positioning the Veriton RI110 as a platform for agentic AI, allowing users to download and deploy their preferred AI solutions.

One example is Acer Qubi Claw, the company’s own agentic AI solution. It runs workflows locally inside an isolated sandbox designed to help protect sensitive information. Qubi Claw supports one-click installation and comes with preconfigured AI skills that allow models to reason, plan, and perform tasks with less manual intervention.

Its initial capabilities cover in-depth online research, travel itinerary and schedule creation, audio capture and transcription, audio-to-text note translation, and autonomous task scheduling.

Acer says it plans to expand Qubi Claw’s compatibility with additional AI models, skills, and channels.

OCuLink enables external GPU expansion

The Veriton RI110’s compact size does not prevent it from supporting more powerful hardware.

A dedicated PCIe 4.0 x4 OCuLink interface provides up to 64Gbps of bandwidth, allowing the workstation to connect directly to external GPUs and high-speed NVMe storage.

That gives the system an upgrade path for workloads such as AI computing, machine learning, 3D rendering, content creation, and professional workstation applications.

Compared with more conventional external connections, OCuLink provides a more direct PCIe connection that can reduce latency and improve communication between the mini workstation and external hardware.

Wi-Fi 7 and security features round out the system

Acer has equipped the Veriton RI110 with a range of connectivity options for professional environments, including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The system also includes multiple high-speed ports, display outputs, and expansion options for different AI and business setups.

For security, fingerprint authentication enables protected sign-ins while adding a more convenient alternative to traditional passwords.

Acer Veriton RI110 availability

The Acer Veriton RI110 AI Mini Workstation is scheduled to launch in North America in Q4 2026 and EMEA in Q1 2027.

Acer has not yet announced pricing or availability for the Philippines. Specifications, configurations, pricing, and launch dates may also vary by market.

With the Veriton RI110, Acer is targeting a growing segment of users that want workstation-class AI capabilities without the footprint of a traditional desktop, while OCuLink gives the compact system room to scale beyond its built-in hardware.
