vivo Philippines has announced the inaugural winners of its GEN V Campus Ambassador Program, completing the brand’s first nationwide search for student ambassadors who will represent vivo across colleges and universities while gaining hands-on marketing and leadership experience.
The first batch of ambassadors was crowned during the grand finals held on July 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, where finalists competed in talent presentations and public speaking challenges before a panel of judges.
Five students lead vivo’s first campus ambassador program
The GEN V Campus Ambassador Program attracted student leaders from higher education institutions across Metro Manila, reflecting vivo Philippines’s efforts to strengthen its presence among campus communities and young content creators.
After four mall auditions and a wildcard round, 15 finalists advanced to the grand finals, where they showcased their creativity through acting, singing, dancing, and speeches highlighting how they would use the platform to benefit their schools and communities.
The inaugural GEN V Campus Ambassadors are Rhea Mea T. Parcon from World Citi Colleges and Beverly I. Cantos from Mapúa University. They will also be joined by John Brent Domaya from Centro Escolar University Manila, and Jerah Bernard L. Eusebio and Icen Rose Vivo, both from University of the Philippines Diliman.
The five ambassadors will officially begin their one-year term on August 1, 2026.
Program focuses on leadership and digital marketing

Rather than serving solely as brand representatives, the GEN V Campus Ambassador Program is designed to give students practical experience in marketing, communications, and brand campaigns.
During their 12-month term, the ambassadors will receive a ₱5,000 monthly cash incentive, mentorship from vivo Philippines marketing professionals, training in branding, digital marketing, campaign execution, and communication, as well as opportunities to participate in vivo product launches and marketing events and gain exposure to real-world brand campaigns.
According to vivo Philippines, outstanding ambassadors may also qualify for internship or employment opportunities after graduation, while selected participants could receive international learning or exchange opportunities, subject to program availability.
Student ambassadors highlight community impact
Throughout the competition, finalists emphasized themes including leadership, creativity, education, inclusivity, and digital storytelling.
Top-ranked ambassador Parcon said the recognition reinforces her goal of encouraging students to believe in themselves and pursue opportunities.
Meanwhile, Domaya said he hopes to use the program to create a broader impact within his community, while Vivo described the ambassadorship as both an achievement and a responsibility to represent her university and the vivo brand.
vivo expands engagement with student communities

The GEN V Campus Ambassador Program reflects a growing trend among smartphone brands to build stronger relationships with university students through creator-focused initiatives and experiential marketing.
Beyond promoting products, vivo Philippines says the program is designed to help students develop leadership skills, gain industry exposure, and participate in marketing campaigns that provide practical experience before entering the workforce.
With its first batch of ambassadors now selected, vivo plans to use the initiative to deepen campus engagement while nurturing the next generation of student leaders and digital creators.
