Epson has expanded its industrial textile printing lineup with the launch of the SureColor F20030, a new 76-inch dye-sublimation printer designed for high-volume textile production as digital printing adoption continues to accelerate across Southeast Asia.
The launch comes as textile manufacturers and print service providers increasingly transition from traditional screen printing to digital dye-sublimation to meet growing demand for customization, shorter production runs, and faster turnaround times.
Digital textile printing continues to gain momentum
According to the Epson-IDC report Digital Textile Printing Trends in Southeast Asia, digital dye-sublimation printing can help businesses grow revenue up to eight times faster than conventional screen printing while opening opportunities in markets such as sportswear, home textiles, footwear, and print-on-demand products.
The report says the shift is being driven by brands seeking more flexible production, lower inventory requirements, and faster response to changing consumer demand.
SureColor F20030 targets high-volume production
Building on the SureColor F11030, Epson’s new SureColor F20030 is designed for production environments where throughput, reliability, and consistent print quality are essential.
The printer features an eight-printhead PrecisionCore MicroTFP architecture, doubling the printhead configuration of its predecessor to improve productivity across its 76-inch print width.
According to Epson, the printer can achieve production speeds of up to 306 square meters per hour at 600 x 600 dpi while maintaining consistent image quality during long print runs.
Designed to minimize downtime
To support continuous production, the Epson SureColor F20030 incorporates several features designed to improve operational efficiency.
These include a dual-sided media drying system, a dust-reduction mechanism that helps minimize nozzle clogging, 10-liter UltraChrome DS Ink packs with hot-swap capability, automatic switching between ink packs during printing, and optional Jumbo Roll and Jumbo Reel systems that support media weighing up to 300 kilograms.
The printer also allows operators to replace selected components, including the printhead and anti-drying cap, through user self-repair functions, reducing reliance on service calls and minimizing maintenance downtime.

Epson said the SureColor F20030 expands its industrial dye-sublimation portfolio to better serve textile manufacturers facing increasing production demands and more complex print workflows.
The company believes the latest addition will help businesses improve productivity while supporting the broader shift toward digital textile manufacturing, where flexibility, operational efficiency, and sustainability have become key priorities for the industry.
