Epson launches next-generation EcoTank printers with faster speeds, smarter mobile features

As demand for affordable, high-volume printing continues to grow, Epson has introduced a new generation of EcoTank printers designed to improve productivity for home users, students, and small businesses. The expanded lineup brings faster print speeds, simplified maintenance, wireless mobile workflows, and the same refillable ink tank system that has made the EcoTank series one of the company’s most successful product families.

The new models include the EcoTank L1310, L1350, L3310, L3316, L3350, L3356, and L5390, all of which are now available in the Philippines.

Epson expands EcoTank lineup for home offices and small businesses

According to Epson, the latest EcoTank lineup builds on the success of more than 100 million EcoTank printers sold worldwide, introducing upgrades for users who regularly print school documents, business forms, reports, and marketing materials.

The new series delivers faster printing performance, a more compact and space-saving design, productivity-focused enhancements, simplified ink refilling, improved mobile connectivity, and lower long-term printing costs.

Several models, including the Epson EcoTank L1350, Epson EcoTank L3350, Epson EcoTank L3356, and Epson EcoTank L5390, also expand their mobile capabilities through the Epson Smart Panel, allowing users to set up, monitor, and manage printing tasks directly from their smartphones.

High-yield ink system reduces printing costs

Like previous EcoTank models, Epson’s latest printers continue to use the company’s refillable ink tank system instead of traditional cartridges.

Each printer comes with 65ml CMYK dye ink bottles capable of printing up to 4,700 black pages and up to 7,500 color pages, helping reduce long-term printing costs for users with high-volume workloads.

Epson also redesigned the refill process with color-coded tank keys that match each ink bottle to its corresponding reservoir, reducing the risk of incorrect refills while making maintenance cleaner and more straightforward.

To support long-term use, Epson says every model is covered for up to 50,000 printed pages under warranty and includes a replaceable Maintenance Box, enabling users to perform routine maintenance without sending the printer to a service center. The new lineup also introduces a Semi-Automatic Print Adjustment system that helps maintain print alignment and consistent color quality over time.

Smart Panel adds mobile scanning and wireless workflows

One of the biggest upgrades in Epson’s latest EcoTank is its expanded mobile productivity features.

The Epson EcoTank L1350, Epson EcoTank L3350, Epson EcoTank L3356, and Epson EcoTank L5390 are compatible with the Epson Smart Panel, allowing users to set up their printers, monitor printer status, scan documents, make copies using a mobile device, combine multiple pages into a single PDF, and preview or edit scanned files directly from a smartphone.

These models also support Apple AirPrint and Mopria, enabling wireless printing from compatible smartphones and tablets without the need to install additional drivers.

For users who prefer a wired setup, the Epson EcoTank L1310, Epson EcoTank L3310, and Epson EcoTank L3316 continue to offer USB 2.0 connectivity.

Compact design improves efficiency

Epson also redesigned the physical layout of the new EcoTank printers.

The ink tanks are now fully integrated into the printer body, reducing the overall footprint by up to 20% compared to previous models. The updated paper tray and curved paper support aim to improve feeding reliability while reducing paper bending.

The flagship L5390 further targets office users by adding an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for faster handling of multi-page documents.

Heat-Free Technology remains a key advantage

The latest EcoTank lineup continues to use Epson Heat-Free Technology, which eliminates the need for heat during the ink ejection process.

Compared with conventional laser printing systems, the technology reduces power consumption while helping lower operating costs. It also minimizes wear on printer components, contributing to longer service life and less maintenance.

For businesses and households printing regularly, the combination of refillable ink tanks, lower energy consumption, and replaceable maintenance components continues to make EcoTank one of Epson’s strongest value propositions in the inkjet printer market.

Availability in the Philippines

The new Epson EcoTank printers became available in the Philippines beginning June 30 through Epson Authorized Dealers and retail partners nationwide.

The latest generation targets users looking for affordable, high-volume printing with modern wireless features, making it suitable for students, home offices, entrepreneurs, and small businesses that need dependable everyday printing without high running costs.
