POCO has officially launched the POCO Pad C1 in the Philippines, expanding its tablet lineup with a budget-friendly big-screen device aimed at entertainment, productivity, and everyday mobile use.
The new tablet enters a competitive entry-level segment dominated by value-focused devices, offering a combination of a high-refresh-rate display, large battery, and Xiaomi ecosystem integration through HyperOS 3.
Big-screen entertainment with 120Hz display and eye-care focus
At the center of the POCO Pad C1 is a 9.7-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother scrolling, streaming, and casual gaming compared to standard 60Hz panels.
POCO highlights the display’s brightness and eye-care features, including up to 600 nits peak brightness, TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification, and optimized viewing for extended usage.
The slim metal unibody design also positions the tablet as a portable everyday companion rather than a bulky media device.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 powers entry-level performance
Under the hood, the POCO Pad C1 runs on the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 Mobile Platform, a chipset designed for efficient performance in daily workloads such as browsing, streaming, and light multitasking.
The device comes in configurations of up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage, with expandable storage support of up to 2TB.
While not positioned for heavy gaming or professional workloads, the chipset aligns with POCO’s focus on stable performance for mainstream users.
7,600mAh battery targets all-day usage
Battery life is one of the POCO Pad C1’s main selling points, featuring a 7,600mAh battery rated for up to 1.7 days of usage.
Key power features include 18W fast charging support, 10W reverse charging (power bank functionality), and optimized power management for media consumption.
This positions the tablet as a practical device for students and users who rely heavily on streaming, reading, and online communication.
HyperOS 3 brings ecosystem integration and AI features
The POCO Pad C1 runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, integrating it more deeply into the Xiaomi ecosystem.
Software features include Xiaomi Interconnectivity for cross-device use, Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search with Google, and customizable widgets and UI improvements.
These features reflect a broader industry shift toward AI-assisted mobile experiences, even in budget and midrange devices.
Pricing and availability in the Philippines
The POCO Pad C1 will be available starting June 1, 2026, with early bird pricing until June 15.
Official pricing includes the 4GB + 64GB variant at ₱8,499 (from ₱8,999) and the 6GB + 128GB Shopee-exclusive variant at ₱9,999 (from ₱10,999). The tablet will be available via POCO’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
With the POCO Pad C1, POCO continues its strategy of offering large-screen devices at accessible price points, competing in a segment where affordability and battery life often outweigh flagship-level performance.
By combining a high-refresh-rate display, large battery, and software ecosystem integration, the Pad C1 aims to attract students, casual users, and mobile-first consumers looking for a secondary entertainment device.
