Xiaomi Launches REDMI Watch 6 Lite and Band 11 Active in the Philippines

Xiaomi is expanding its affordable wearable lineup in the Philippines with the REDMI Watch 6 Lite and Xiaomi Band 11 Active, giving users two options for tracking fitness, sleep, stress, and other health metrics throughout the day.

Both wearables go on sale online starting August 25, with availability at official Xiaomi stores following on September 15. Prices start at PHP 1,999 for the Band 11 Active, while the larger REDMI Watch 6 Lite costs PHP 3,999.

REDMI Watch 6 Lite brings a bigger smartwatch experience

The REDMI Watch 6 Lite is aimed at users who want more than basic activity tracking. Its 1.96-inch AMOLED display has a 410 × 502-pixel resolution, up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, and support for an Always-On Display.

Xiaomi also redesigned the watch with a flat-edge frame and a 9.9mm-thin profile. A quick-release strap lets users switch between different looks without much effort.

For fitness tracking, the wearable supports 150 sport modes, alongside multi-system satellite positioning, 9-axis motion tracking, and a professional swim mode. Its 5 ATM water resistance also makes it suitable for swimming and everyday workouts.

The watch monitors heart rate, blood oxygen, and stress throughout the day. It also supports Bluetooth calling, allowing users to answer calls directly from their wrist.

A 470mAh battery provides up to 12 days of regular use, with battery life reaching up to 18 days under lighter usage conditions.

Xiaomi Band 11 Active focuses on lightweight fitness tracking

The Xiaomi Band 11 Active takes a simpler approach, prioritizing everyday fitness and health monitoring in a smaller form factor.

The band weighs just 18 grams without its strap and features a 1.47-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Its 2.5D screen cover and textured frame give it a more fitness-oriented design, while the striped-texture strap adds a more youthful look.

It supports 50 sport modes and 5 ATM water resistance for everyday exercise and activities. Health features include all-day heart-rate and blood-oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and women’s health management.

Battery life is another key selling point. The 300mAh battery can last up to 21 days under specific usage conditions and up to eight days with typical use.

That makes the Band 11 Active particularly suited to users who want basic health and activity tracking without having to charge another device every night.

Two wearables for different everyday needs

While both devices cover the fundamentals of fitness and health tracking, Xiaomi is positioning them for different types of users.

The REDMI Watch 6 Lite is better suited for those who want a larger 1.96-inch AMOLED display, Bluetooth calling, extensive sports tracking with 150 modes, and a more complete smartwatch experience. It also offers up to 18 days of battery life.

The Xiaomi Band 11 Active, meanwhile, focuses on the essentials. Its lighter design, 1.47-inch display, longer battery life of up to 21 days, and its lower price make it a practical option for users primarily interested in monitoring daily activity and wellness. It supports 50 sports modes and adds sleep and women’s health tracking alongside heart-rate, SpO₂, and stress monitoring.

Both devices carry a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, giving users added flexibility for workouts and everyday use.
