Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Watch 6 Active in the Philippines, bringing a 1.85-inch AMOLED display, health and fitness tracking, Bluetooth calling, and up to 18 days of battery life to the company’s affordable smartwatch lineup.
Priced at ₱2,599, the wearable targets users looking for a smartwatch for everyday activity tracking and notifications without moving into the higher-priced segment.
Redmi Watch 6 Active gets a 1.85-inch AMOLED display
The Redmi Watch 6 Active features a 1.85-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a 390 × 450-pixel resolution. Its peak brightness reaches 1,200 nits, which should make the screen easier to read outdoors and under direct sunlight.
The smartwatch also supports an Always-On Display (AOD) and comes with a refreshed user interface for navigating notifications, workout information, and other functions.
Xiaomi uses a flat-edge design for the watch, with a 9.9mm-thick body measuring 44.55mm × 39.4mm. The body uses PC polymer, while the included strap uses TPU.
A Quick-Release mechanism also allows users to swap the strap without specialized tools.

Health tracking covers heart rate, SpO2, and stress
The Redmi Watch 6 Active includes optical sensors for continuous health and fitness monitoring.
Its tracking features include 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, all-day stress monitoring, and guided breathing recommendations. The smartwatch also carries an IP68 rating, providing protection against everyday exposure to water, sweat, and rain.
This makes the watch suitable for workouts and outdoor activities while giving users access to continuous health and fitness tracking throughout the day.
Bluetooth calling and 18-day battery life
The Redmi Watch 6 Active supports Bluetooth 5.3 and Bluetooth calling, allowing users to answer calls directly from the smartwatch when paired with a compatible smartphone.
A 470mAh battery powers the device, with Xiaomi claiming up to 18 days of battery life under light usage and up to 12 days under normal daily use.

That puts battery longevity among the watch’s key selling points, particularly for users who prefer not to charge their wearable every night.
Redmi Watch 6 Active price and availability in the Philippines
