HUAWEI partnered with Pretty Huge to host HUAWEI Fit Fest, bringing together runners, fitness enthusiasts, and content creators for a community workout designed to showcase how wearable technology can enhance training, recovery, and overall wellness.
Held on August 5, the event featured a community run, guided stretching and recovery session, and a high-intensity fitness challenge, with participants using HUAWEI’s latest smart wearables and audio devices throughout the experience.
HUAWEI highlights AI-powered fitness ecosystem
Participants tested HUAWEI’s newest devices, including the HUAWEI FreeClip 2, HUAWEI Band 11, HUAWEI Band 11 Pro, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5, HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, and HUAWEI WATCH GT 6.
The event welcomed members of the Founders Run Club, HUAWEI Campus Ambassadors, fitness creators, and members of the local running community to experience how the company’s connected ecosystem supports different stages of fitness.

FreeClip 2 delivers open-ear audio for workouts
During the community’s 3K and 5K runs, participants used the HUAWEI FreeClip 2, which features an open-ear design that allows users to listen to music while remaining aware of their surroundings.
The earbuds feature HUAWEI’s Airy C-Bridge design with liquid silicone and shape-memory alloy construction for a secure fit during workouts. They also offer IP57 water resistance, AI-powered audio optimization, adaptive listening, dual-device connectivity, gesture controls, and up to 38 hours of battery life with the charging case.
Wearables provide real-time performance tracking
The HUAWEI Band 11 and Band 11 Pro helped participants monitor pace, distance, heart rate, and recovery throughout the event, with the Pro model adding built-in GPS for outdoor activity tracking without a smartphone.

Meanwhile, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 was used during running, rowing, and strength-based challenges, highlighting its GPS capabilities, AI-powered health insights, and multiple sports modes.
Participants looking for a traditional smartwatch also explored the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6, which offers sports tracking, running-form analysis, and up to 21 days of battery life.
For dedicated runners, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 demonstrated advanced training features, including AI-powered GPS, real-time pace guidance, lactate threshold analysis, race predictions, and post-run performance reports.
Workout data syncs with Strava
HUAWEI also emphasized cross-platform compatibility by allowing participants to synchronize workout data directly with Strava on both Android and iOS devices.
Attendees shared positive feedback about the devices’ lightweight design, GPS accuracy, and comfort during extended physical activity.
According to HUAWEI, the collaboration with Pretty Huge reflects its goal of combining smart technology with community-driven fitness experiences to help more Filipinos monitor progress, improve performance, and stay motivated in their wellness journey.
