HUAWEI has opened pre-orders for the Pura 90s Series in the Philippines, bringing its latest flagship smartphones with 5G connectivity, advanced imaging hardware, AI-powered photography tools, and large-capacity batteries.
Positioned as the brand’s latest “King of Imaging,” the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series starts at ₱54,999 and includes the Pura 90s Pro Max and Pura 90s Pro.
200MP telephoto camera leads the imaging system
The flagship HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max features a 200MP Ultra Large Sensor Telephoto Camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and what HUAWEI describes as the industry’s first 200MP RYYB sensor.
The telephoto system is designed to capture distant subjects in greater detail, whether users are photographing concerts, wildlife, or other faraway scenes. It is paired with CIPA 7.0 image stabilization to help keep handheld zoom shots steady.
The Pro Max also carries a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera with a 3-in-1 Ultra Lighting Prism and up to 16 EV dynamic range, allowing the phone to retain details in both bright highlights and darker areas.
Both models also introduce HUAWEI’s 2nd Gen True-to-Colour Camera, designed to deliver more accurate and lifelike colors across different shooting scenarios.
AI tools make mobile photography easier
The Pura 90s Series also puts AI-powered tools at the center of its photography experience.
AI Composition analyzes scenes in real time and provides framing suggestions based on photography principles, helping users find better angles for portraits, landscapes, food, and architecture.
For post-processing, AI De-Glare can remove reflections from glass, windows, and screens with a single tap.
Meanwhile, AI Move lets users isolate, move, resize, or duplicate objects in an image. The tool can also reconstruct the area left behind by a moved object and integrate subjects into other photos while adjusting lighting, shadows, and edges.
5G, Celia AI, and cross-platform sharing
Beyond photography, the Pura 90s Series comes with 5G connectivity designed to provide faster downloads and uploads, stronger performance in areas with weaker coverage, and smoother signal recovery.
The phones also feature an enhanced Celia AI assistant that can help with everyday tasks such as reminders, messaging, calls, weather checks, and voice-based ride-hailing.
HUAWEI has also added cross-OS sharing with iOS, allowing users to transfer photos, documents, and videos between the Pura 90s Series and iPhones.
Up to 6,000mAh battery and fast charging
Both models pack a 6,000mAh battery, with charging configurations varying between the two. The Pura 90s Pro Max supports 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge, reaching up to 85% battery capacity in 30 minutes, alongside 80W wireless charging, while the Pura 90s Pro supports 66W wired and 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge.
The Pro Max also uses Anti-Reflection and Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass, which HUAWEI says improves scratch resistance, reduces glare and fingerprints, and enhances drop resistance.
HUAWEI Pura 90s Series price and pre-order offers
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max 512GB is priced at ₱79,999, while the Pura 90s Pro costs ₱54,999 for the 256GB model and ₱64,999 for the 512GB variant.
Pre-orders run from August 7 to 19 and come with several incentives, including up to ₱5,000 off through selected bank credit or debit cards, a HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 worth ₱3,999, a HUAWEI Pura exclusive gift box worth ₱3,999, premium services worth up to ₱6,499, and vouchers worth up to ₱4,000 through the HUAWEI Online Store. Customers can also receive up to ₱2,000 in vouchers through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
The series is available for pre-order through HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide and the brand’s online channels.
HUAWEI is also inviting photography enthusiasts to participate in the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2026, with submissions open until August 16 and a grand prize valued at US$10,000.
