Crunchyroll is bringing a packed slate of new and returning anime to its Fall 2026 season, with Black Clover Season 2, Firefly Wedding, Overgeared, PSYREN, and The Vermilion Mask among the titles joining its weekly simulcast lineup.
The Southeast Asia schedule begins on September 26, with additional premieres rolling out through October alongside returning series such as Please Excuse My Younger Brothers and The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System.
Black Clover returns in October
One of the season’s major returning titles is Black Clover Season 2, which premieres on October 3.
The new season follows Asta and the Magic Knights as they launch a raid into the Spade Kingdom to rescue their squad captains from the Dark Triad. The mission pushes Asta and the Magic Knights into battles against increasingly powerful enemies.
The series will be available with subtitles in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, Vietnamese, and Traditional Chinese. A Thai dub and Taiwanese Mandarin dub are also listed for the season.
Firefly Wedding leads October’s new anime
Firefly Wedding arrives on October 9, adapting the romantic historical manga centered on Satoko Kirigaya and assassin Shinpei Goto.
Satoko, a noblewoman facing a life-threatening illness, seeks a suitable marriage before her time runs out. Her plans change after she is kidnapped by Shinpei, leading her to propose marriage as a way to survive.
The david production series will launch with Thai and Bahasa Indonesia dubs, alongside subtitles in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
PSYREN joins Crunchyroll as an exclusive
Crunchyroll will also stream PSYREN as an exclusive title, with its premiere listed as coming soon.
The series follows Ageha, who begins investigating rumors surrounding disappearances across Japan while becoming drawn into a deadly game.
The anime is produced by Satelight and will be available with a Thai dub, alongside subtitles in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Overgeared brings VR gaming to the fall lineup
Another new addition is Overgeared, which premieres on September 27 as a Crunchyroll exclusive.
The series follows Grid, a player struggling with debt and an unsuccessful career in a virtual reality game. A difficult quest changes his fortunes when he becomes the heir to a legendary blacksmith, giving him a path to rebuild his character and pursue powerful equipment.
The anime is produced by J.C.STAFF and will include a Thai dub.
The Vermilion Mask adds a darker fantasy story
The Vermilion Mask premieres on October 10, introducing apprentice mask maker Peru to a world where supernatural masks can possess their wearers.
After Peru becomes possessed by the Mask of the Warrior God and accidentally kills his friends and master, he sets out to destroy the masks created by his late mentor before they cause more deaths.
The 100studio production will include a Thai dub, with subtitles available in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
More anime arrive throughout the season
The Fall 2026 schedule also spans returning sequels, new adaptations, fantasy titles, and original productions, giving viewers a broad mix of genres throughout the season.
Among the other notable premieres, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 arrives on September 26, followed by As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 3 on September 27. October begins with FX Fighter Kurumi-chan on October 1, while A Tale of the Secret Saint, Magical Explorer, Romelia War Chronicle, and VERTEX FORCE premiere on October 3.
The October 4 lineup adds Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship! and Aoashi Season 2, alongside Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things. Hello, I am a Witch and my Crush Wants me to Make a Love Potion! follows on October 5.
October 7 brings several premieres, including The Detective is Already Dead Season 2, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2, Magic Knight Rayearth, Sasaki and Peeps Season 2, and The World’s Strongest Witch. The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II arrives on October 8, followed by Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle 2nd Cour on October 13.
Several titles from the Summer 2026 season will also continue into Fall. Please Excuse My Younger Brothers will release new episodes on Fridays, while The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System continues with new episodes on Thursdays.
