Global Google Cloud engineering company Beyond has officially entered the Philippine market, opening a local presence aimed at giving organizations access to specialist cloud engineering expertise and Google-first innovation.
The company marked its Philippine launch with an event at Blackbird in Nielson Tower, Makati City, bringing together around 150 guests from government, the diplomatic community, technology, academe, and the media.
Beyond specializes in Google Cloud, with more than 75% of its workforce working as hands-on technical specialists. The company designs and builds technology for global brands, with expertise spanning artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and commerce.

Beyond looks to build its Philippine presence
Beyond CEO Alan Paton said the company’s entry into the Philippines is driven by the country’s engineering talent and the opportunity to establish a long-term presence.
“The Philippines is home to exceptional engineering talent, and we see a real opportunity to build here for the long term,” Paton said.
He added that Beyond aims to give Philippine organizations direct access to engineering expertise and Google-first approaches that can help them operate and compete more effectively.
The company’s Philippine operations form part of its Asia Pacific delivery organization, headed by Geoff Newell, Delivery Centre Director for APAC.
Beyond plans to expand its local team and client base in the coming months as it builds its presence in the country and across the region.

From Qodea to Beyond
Beyond was formed in 2023 following the merger of CTS, a Manchester-founded Google Cloud partner, and Appsbroker, creating Qodea.
The company subsequently expanded its capabilities through a series of acquisitions focused on engineering, cybersecurity, and digital product development before eventually rebranding as Beyond. Its Philippine operations now contribute to the company’s wider international delivery network.
With its local launch, Beyond is positioning the Philippines as part of its broader Asia Pacific growth strategy while giving local organizations access to its Google Cloud engineering capabilities. More information is available at bynd.com.
