ASUS Brings AI Business Laptops to the Philippines with ExpertBook P5 G2 and P3 G2 Powered by AMD Ryzen AI

ASUS has officially launched the ExpertBook P5 G2 and ExpertBook P3 G2, two AI-powered business laptops built on AMD Ryzen AI processors and designed for hybrid work environments in the Philippines.

The rollout expands ASUS’ push into enterprise AI computing, targeting executives, SMEs, and mobile professionals who increasingly rely on on-device AI tools for productivity and collaboration.

The launch comes as businesses in the Philippines continue adopting hybrid work setups and AI-assisted workflows, driving demand for laptops that balance performance, portability, and enterprise-grade security.

ASUS pushes AI-first computing for Philippine enterprises

The company positions the new ExpertBook lineup as part of its broader shift toward AI-integrated business computing, with both devices built around dedicated NPUs for local AI processing.

The strategy reflects a wider industry move away from traditional CPU-bound workloads toward AI-accelerated systems capable of handling translation, summarization, and workflow automation on-device.

Key positioning points include on-device AI processing through AMD Ryzen AI NPUs, Copilot+ PC certification for Microsoft AI features, enterprise-focused security and manageability tools, and durability standards for field and hybrid use.

This aligns ASUS with competitors also pushing AI PCs, including Lenovo and HP, as enterprise buyers begin standardizing AI capability as a baseline requirement rather than a premium feature.

ExpertBook P5 G2 targets high-performance AI workloads

The ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 leads the new lineup as the premium option for executives and power users handling intensive workloads.

Powered by up to the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX processor with 55 NPU TOPS, the device supports local AI processing for tasks like document generation, translation, and meeting assistance without relying heavily on cloud services.

It also supports up to 96GB DDR5 RAM, up to 6TB dual-SSD storage, Copilot+ PC certification with Microsoft AI features, AI tools for meetings, transcription, and workflow automation, and 2.5K 144Hz display options including OLED variants.

ASUS also integrates its AI software layer, including meeting transcription and noise reduction tools aimed at improving remote collaboration for enterprise users.

ExpertBook P3 G2 focuses on hybrid and SME productivity

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 is designed as a more accessible AI business laptop for hybrid workers, administrators, and SMEs.

It runs on up to AMD Ryzen 7 processors with up to 39 NPU TOPS, enabling AI-assisted features while prioritizing cost efficiency and battery life.

Core specifications include up to 96GB DDR5 RAM, up to 6TB dual-SSD storage, 14-inch and 16-inch variants, 2.5K anti-glare displays up to 144Hz, and a 70Wh battery for all-day use.

Like the P5 G2, it supports ASUS AI meeting tools for transcription, translation, and noise cancellation, all processed on-device for privacy and performance stability.

Security and durability built for enterprise deployment

Both ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 and ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 are built around enterprise requirements, with ASUS emphasizing durability and security for field and hybrid professionals.

Security features include TPM 2.0 encryption, FIDO2 biometric authentication, NIST SP 800-155-compliant BIOS, Secured-core Windows 11 integration, and a webcam privacy shutter.

Durability is certified under MIL-STD-810H standards, covering resistance to shock, temperature variation, and everyday wear conditions often encountered in mobile work environments.

ASUS is also bundling multi-layer after-sales support, including extended warranty options and nationwide service coverage.

Pricing and availability in the Philippines

ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 starts at ₱87,995, while the ASUS ExpertBook P3 G2 starts at ₱69,995. Both models are now available through authorized ASUS Business resellers nationwide.

With the launch of the ExpertBook P5 G2 and P3 G2, ASUS is reinforcing its position in the growing AI PC market in the Philippines, where enterprise buyers are shifting toward devices with built-in neural processing capabilities.

As AI workloads move closer to the edge, laptops like these signal a broader transition: from traditional productivity machines to always-on AI-assisted work systems designed for hybrid, data-heavy workflows.

If adoption continues at this pace, AI-capable business laptops are likely to become standard equipment in Philippine enterprises within the next product cycle.
