Gangstar Mirage City is now live across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, following more than 30 million pre-registrations ahead of its regional launch.
Developed by Gameloft and published by Level Infinite, the free-to-play multiplayer open-world action game puts players in a near-future metropolis where they can complete missions, build a criminal empire, customize vehicles, and compete with other players.
The regional launch covers Southeast Asia, South Asia, Eastern and Central Europe, MENA, and LATAM, with the game now available on iOS and Android.
Build an empire across Mirage City
Gangstar Mirage City combines a cinematic campaign with a reactive open world designed to create more unpredictable gameplay experiences.
Players can follow narrative missions and dynamic quests while exploring the city, encountering spontaneous events, and expanding their territory. A unified net worth system tracks the value of each player’s growing empire, with successful operations unlocking better gear, vehicles, and perks.
The game also introduces Director’s Mode, allowing players to record and create their own Gangstar moments to share with others.
Multiplayer modes bring crews into the action
Beyond the main campaign, Mirage City offers several multiplayer modes built around cooperation and competition.
Players can team up with friends or faction members in activities such as Co-op Heists, while other Featured Events put different gameplay mechanics in focus.
These include Fight of the Bites, a restaurant-themed gang war centered on objectives; Taxi Takeover, a vehicle-based competitive mode; Treasure Rush, an objective-driven event focused on collecting rewards; Big Head Mode, a survival-style showdown with a twist; and Orarra Fight, a battle royale-style mode designed for larger multiplayer clashes.
These modes give players alternatives to the game’s narrative missions while encouraging crews and factions to compete for rewards.
Shoot, drive, and take control of the streets
Vehicular combat is another major part of Mirage City’s gameplay. The game uses run-and-gun mechanics alongside its proprietary shoot-and-drive system, allowing players to fight while controlling their vehicles.
Players can also use specialized tools during encounters, including the Digital Disruptor, which can take control of nearby vehicles, as well as the Sentry System and Siege Plating for additional defensive options.
The combination of driving and combat gives Mirage City a more active approach to vehicle-based encounters compared with traditional open-world missions.
Launch rewards available for early players
Players who pre-registered before August 19 can claim exclusive launch rewards through the Global Vault Heist campaign. The rewards include 300 Diamonds, Vehicle Upgrade Vouchers, and a Vehicle Pack.
Players who recruited friends into their four-person crews during the pre-registration campaign can also receive additional vouchers for cosmetic item draws.
Winning faction members in SEA will receive another 300 Diamonds each. Global Vault Heist and Faction rewards will be delivered through the in-game mail system.
Tagalog localization comes to Mirage City
For Filipino players, the regional launch also brings deeper localization compared with the game’s earlier soft launch.
Gangstar Mirage City supports nine languages, including English and Tagalog, alongside Indonesian, Thai, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish.
Localization covers menus, mission objectives, subtitles, and item descriptions, while English remains the game’s voice-over language.
The SEA version also expands on the Philippine soft launch with a larger map, new Featured Events, additional ways to develop businesses, and region-specific language support.
Creator Program opens another way to play
The launch also kicks off the Gangstar Mirage City Creator Program, giving content creators opportunities to earn rewards while producing game-related content.
The program includes incentives such as a shared cash pool, in-game currency, official-account reposts, and other initiatives designed to help creators grow their audience.
Players can also expect a month-long All Gangstar Show global livestream series, where content creators compete and feud over who can claim the title of boss.
