realme C100 Series Teased in PH With Up to 8000mAh Battery, Military-Grade Durability

realme Philippines has teased its upcoming C100 Series ahead of its June 18 launch, highlighting a focus on extended battery life and reinforced durability as competition in the entry-level and budget smartphone segment continues to intensify.

The new lineup, led by the realme C100 and C100i, positions itself around two core selling points: all-day endurance and long-term reliability. The series targets users who prioritize battery longevity, durability, and practical performance for everyday use.

Massive Batteries Designed for Extended Daily Use

At the center of the C100 Series is a clear push toward extreme battery capacity.

The realme C100 features an 8000mAh Titan Battery, while the C100i is equipped with a 7000mAh battery. Both models are designed to deliver up to 1.5 days of usage on a single charge.

realme also emphasizes long-term battery health, claiming the C100 can retain up to 80% capacity after seven years of daily use, while the C100i maintains similar durability for up to six years. The company attributes this to improved power efficiency and reduced battery degradation over time.

Durability Built for Everyday Stress

Beyond battery life, realme is positioning the C100 Series as a highly durable smartphone line for demanding users.

Both devices feature ArmorShell Protection, MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance, and up to 2-meter drop resistance.

The realme C100 further strengthens its durability profile with an IP69 Pro rating, offering resistance against dust, submersion, and high-pressure water exposure. Meanwhile, the C100i carries an IP64 rating, covering basic dust and splash protection.

These durability certifications place the C100 Series among the more rugged offerings in the budget smartphone segment, where long-lasting hardware is becoming a key buying consideration.

Design and Color Options Inspired by Light and Texture

realme is also introducing new aesthetic elements under its “Blooming Design” approach, which uses a textured finish designed to reflect light dynamically.

The realme C100 will be available in Glory White, Endurance Brown, and Victory Purple, while the realme C100i comes in Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray.

The design direction continues realme’s trend of combining budget-friendly devices with more expressive visual styling aimed at younger users.

Entry-Level Segment Focused on Endurance and Value

The C100 Series highlights a broader trend in the entry-level smartphone market, where brands are increasingly competing on battery capacity, durability ratings, and long-term usability rather than raw performance alone.

With 8000mAh batteries and reinforced protection features, realme is clearly targeting users who prioritize longevity over flagship-level specifications.

Full specifications and official pricing for the realme C100 Series will be revealed during its June 18 livestream launch on realme Philippines’ official Facebook page.
