Grab Philippines is expanding the ways users can earn and spend GrabCoins, bringing the rewards program across more of its everyday services, including rides, food and grocery deliveries, and cashless payments.
Users can collect GrabCoins through eligible GrabCar bookings, GrabFood and GrabMart orders, GrabPay transactions, and selected in-app activities, then use them for discounts and vouchers across participating Grab services.
More ways to earn GrabCoins
Grab users can earn GrabCoins by completing eligible transactions and joining selected in-app activities.
These include making Advanced Bookings or Group Rides on GrabCar, hosting a GrabFood group order, ordering during selected promotional periods, shopping from participating grocery and pharmacy categories on GrabMart, and making eligible GrabPay transactions.
GrabUnlimited (GU) members can also earn enhanced rewards on eligible cashless transactions. Members receive 6 GrabCoins for every ₱100 spent through GrabPay and 3 GrabCoins for every ₱100 spent using other eligible cashless payment methods.
Double GrabCoins from the 23rd to 25th
Grab is also introducing Double Coins Days, a monthly promotion available from the 23rd to the 25th of each month.
During the three-day period, users can earn 2× GrabCoins on selected transactions. Participating offers will be listed on the GrabCoins homepage within the Grab app.
The recurring promotion gives users another way to accumulate rewards, particularly for transactions they would already make through Grab’s various services.
GrabCoins can now cover more everyday spending
Once earned, GrabCoins can be redeemed through the GrabCoins catalogue for available vouchers or applied directly to eligible GrabCar, GrabFood, and GrabMart transactions using the GrabCoins toggle.
The rewards can also be used for in-store QR Ph payments through GrabPay, extending the program beyond Grab’s own ride and delivery services.
GrabCoins remain valid for six months from the date they are earned. Users can check their current GrabCoins balance, available rewards, and participating offers directly through the Grab app.
With the expanded earning and redemption options, Grab is positioning GrabCoins as a more integrated rewards system across its ecosystem rather than a benefit limited to individual Grab services.
