Acer is expanding its thin-and-light laptop lineup with the Swift Blade 14, a 799-gram ultraportable designed for mobile productivity, alongside the larger Swift Air 16.
Both laptops were unveiled at Acer’s next@acer global press conference in Berlin and run Windows 11 with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350. The Swift Blade 14 focuses on extreme portability, while the Swift Air 16 offers a larger display and more features for work and entertainment.
Acer Swift Blade 14 weighs just 799g
The headline feature of the Acer Swift Blade 14 (SFB14-53CF) is its weight. At just 799 grams and as thin as 12.9mm, the 14-inch laptop is designed for users who regularly carry their computer between home, office, school, and other locations.
It can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, and up to 1TB of storage.
Acer is also offering up to a 3K OLED display with coverage of up to 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The 16:10 panel is surrounded by 4.3mm bezels and achieves a 90% screen-to-body ratio, giving the compact chassis more usable screen space.
The laptop includes a 50Wh battery and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports. A Full HD user-facing camera with a physical camera switch is also built in.
Its chassis combines magnesium-aluminum alloy and carbon fiber, with Marshmallow Blue and Marshmallow White serving as the available color options.
Swift Air 16 goes bigger for work and entertainment
For users who want a larger workspace, Acer also introduced the Swift Air 16 (SFA16-I31T / SFA16-I31).
The 16-inch laptop measures as thin as 13.3mm and weighs 1.5kg. Its all-aluminum chassis comes in Elemental Blue, Sage Green, and Sandstone Gold.
Like the Swift Blade 14, the Swift Air 16 can run on up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350, with up to 40 platform TOPS and a dedicated NPU.
It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 512GB of upgradable storage.
Acer equips the laptop with a 70Wh battery capable of charging to 50% in 30 minutes using a 100W adapter.
3K OLED and 120Hz displays headline the Swift Air 16
The Swift Air 16 offers a choice between OLED and IPS displays depending on configuration.
The OLED option covers 100% of DCI-P3, while the IPS variant reaches 100% sRGB. Both can be configured with up to WQXGA+ resolution at 2,880 x 1,800, alongside up to 500 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The IPS configuration can also support multi-touch input.
For entertainment, Acer adds a quad-speaker system with DTS Virtual:X for spatial audio. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide high-speed connectivity for peripherals, displays, and other accessories.
A backlit keyboard rounds out the laptop’s productivity-focused design.
Acer Swift Air 14 already debuted at Computex
The new Swift Air 16 isn’t the only member of the series.
Acer previously introduced the 14-inch Swift Air 14 at Computex 2026, with the model now available in several markets.
The latest Swift Blade 14 and Swift Air 16 expand the range in different directions: the Blade prioritizes minimizing weight, while the Air 16 provides a larger display and more room for work and entertainment.
Availability
The Acer Swift Blade 14 is scheduled to launch in EMEA in December 2026. The Swift Air 16 will arrive in EMEA in December 2026 and North America in Q1 2027.
The company says pricing, specifications, and availability will vary depending on the market. Philippine availability and pricing have not been announced in the provided details.
