realme has officially launched the realme 16T 5G in the Philippines, bringing an 8,000mAh battery, 50MP Sony camera, 144Hz display, and IP69 Pro protection to its latest smartphone.
The realme 16T 5G starts at ₱22,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₱24,999 for 8GB+256GB. The company is also offering launch discounts, freebies, and installment options as it begins selling the device nationwide.
realme 16T 5G packs an 8,000mAh battery
The biggest highlight of the realme 16T 5G is its 8,000mAh Titan Battery, which realme says can provide up to two days of use on a single charge.
The battery is paired with 45W SUPERVOOC charging, capable of charging the phone from 0% to 50% in around 46 minutes. The device also supports wired reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power source for other devices.
For gamers, bypass charging allows the phone to draw power directly while plugged in, reducing reliance on the battery during extended gaming sessions.
realme is also backing the battery with a 7-Year Battery Health Guarantee, promising at least 80% battery capacity after seven years of use.
50MP Sony camera brings a film-inspired shooting mode
The realme 16T 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera, supported by realme’s LumaColor IMAGE Algorithm, which is designed to improve skin tones and exposure balance.
One of the phone’s more distinctive photography features is Vibe Master Mode, which applies a film camera-inspired aesthetic directly through the camera app.
Users can shoot in Auto mode or switch to Pro mode for more control. The phone also supports RAW DNG capture, giving users more flexibility when editing photos later.
Additional controls include adjustments for grain, sharpness, and saturation.
The camera system is further supported by realme’s NEXT AI imaging suite, which includes AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Portrait Glow, and AI Instant Clip.
6.8-inch display runs at up to 144Hz
The realme 16T 5G comes with a 6.8-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and peak brightness of 1,200 nits.
Its high refresh rate should make scrolling and supported games appear smoother, while the higher brightness can improve visibility in brighter environments.
realme is also positioning the phone as a more durable option. It carries an IP69 Pro rating, providing protection against dust, submersion, and high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.
The phone also features ArmorShell protection and military-grade shock resistance for additional durability.
realme 16T 5G Philippine price and launch offers
The realme 16T 5G is available in Aurora Green and Starlight Black, with official pricing starting at ₱22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at ₱24,999.
During the launch period, realme is offering discounts and freebies at its official stores nationwide.
Customers who pre-order from August 28 to September 3 and claim their units from September 4 to 15 can receive up to ₱7,298 worth of offers, including a free Laifen SE Lite Hair Dryer, Privilege Card, six-month extended warranty, six-month screen damage protection, and a ₱2,000 instant discount.
The first selling period from September 4 to 15 also comes with up to ₱3,499 worth of offers, including the Privilege Card and ₱2,000 instant discount.
Home Credit customers can purchase the realme 16T 5G through 0% interest installments for up to 18 months, with payments starting at ₱37 per day. An additional ₱500 discount is also available from August 28 to September 15 using the code REALME16T500.

Alongside the smartphone’s Philippine launch, realme is introducing its #BidaMoment campaign, encouraging users to share photos taken with realme devices using #BidaMoment and #BidaMomentwithrealme.
