HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max arrives in PH with pre-order freebies

HUAWEI is expanding its flagship tablet lineup in the Philippines with the HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max, a large-screen productivity device designed to combine PC-like capabilities with the portability of a tablet.

Available for pre-order until August 19, 2026, the 13.2-inch tablet is priced at PHP 96,999 and comes with up to PHP 39,595 worth of freebies, including a keyboard, stylus, mouse, software subscriptions, and an extended warranty.

HUAWEI positions the MatePad Pro Max as a 4-in-1 productivity device for work, entertainment, study, and creative tasks.

A 4.7mm tablet built for PC-level productivity

The MatePad Pro Max measures just 4.7mm thick and weighs 499g, making it one of HUAWEI’s thinnest and lightest large-screen tablets.

Its full-metal unibody uses the company’s Cloud Falcon Architecture, which HUAWEI says improves bending resistance by 60%. The device also carries the TÜV Rheinland Ultra-Thin Bending Resistance Certification.

Inside, a 10,400mAh battery provides up to 14.5 hours of video playback. The tablet also supports 40W reverse SuperCharge and Live Multitask, allowing users to run three apps simultaneously.

The accompanying HUAWEI Glide Keyboard weighs 439g and uses a magnetic flexible hinge to transform the tablet into a laptop-style workstation. It also includes a concealed slot for storing and charging the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro.

13.2-inch 3K OLED display targets work and creativity

The MatePad Pro Max features a 13.2-inch 3K flexible OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and a 94% screen-to-body ratio.

With 3.55mm bezels, the larger display provides more room for document editing, multitasking, media consumption, and creative applications.

The PaperMatte Edition uses a nano-level etching process that HUAWEI says improves clarity by 20%. The variant also carries TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 5.0 Certification and weighs 509g.

WPS AI and GoPaint bring AI into everyday workflows

HUAWEI is also emphasizing software as part of the MatePad Pro Max experience.

The tablet comes with an upgraded PC-Level WPS Office and the new WPS AI suite, which can suggest topics, refine text, extract key points, and help create presentations.

Its multi-device collaboration features also allow teams to edit and synchronize files through shared links and permission controls.

For creators, the MatePad Pro Max includes a 50MP True-to-Color rear camera and support for HUAWEI’s GoPaint app.

GoPaint features an Intelligent Color Card alongside new Fluid and Splatter brushes, while integration with the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro allows users to sample colors from the real world and apply them directly to a digital canvas.

HUAWEI Notes also gains AI-powered tools that can convert handwritten notes into polished text and help solve mathematical equations from documents.

The upgraded Gallery adds AI image-editing features, including tools for selecting preferred facial expressions in group photos and removing unwanted objects.

Pre-order bundle worth nearly PHP 40,000

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro Max WiFi-only 12GB+512GB Blue PaperMatte Edition is priced at ₱96,999.

Customers who pre-order until August 19 can receive up to ₱39,595 worth of freebies, including the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard worth ₱14,999, HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro worth ₱7,999, Bluetooth Mouse worth ₱1,899, pre-installed PC-level WPS Office worth ₱4,999, a one-year WPS AI Membership worth ₱7,000, and a one-year extended warranty worth ₱2,699.

HUAWEI is also offering flexible payment options, including 0% interest installments for up to 24 months through participating credit cards and up to 18 months through Home Credit.

With its large OLED display, laptop-style keyboard, AI-powered productivity tools, and bundled accessories, the MatePad Pro Max is positioned as HUAWEI’s flagship option for users seeking a more portable alternative to a traditional PC without giving up productivity and creative capabilities.
