Yale officially launched its Smart Yale Home initiative in the Philippines through a month-long immersive pop-up experience at True Value.
Running from May 1 to 31, the installation transforms part of the retail space into a fully simulated smart home environment designed to demonstrate how connected security devices fit into modern Filipino households.
The launch reflects the growing momentum behind smart home adoption in the Philippines, where demand for app-connected devices, automated access systems, and integrated security solutions continues to rise.
Yale showcases smart locks, biometric access, and connected safes
The centerpiece of the installation is the Yale Luna Elite+, Yale’s flagship smart lock that introduces FaceScan and PalmScan authentication technology.
Using 3D structured light technology, the device supports touchless facial recognition and palm vein scanning, positioning it within the premium smart security segment that is becoming increasingly common in higher-end residential developments.
The Luna Elite+ also supports multiple access methods, including fingerprint authentication, RFID access, PIN codes, and a mechanical key backup. It can also be managed remotely through the Yale Home App.
Additional connected features include real-time visitor monitoring, two-way communication, and motion alerts, aligning the device with broader smart home ecosystems focused on convenience, security, and remote accessibility.

Yale targets broader adoption with simpler smart lock options
Alongside its premium offerings, Yale also introduced more accessible smart lock solutions aimed at mainstream households.
The Yale Uno integrates a fingerprint scanner directly into the lever handle, allowing users to unlock and open doors in a single motion. The device also supports RFID cards, PIN access, and traditional key entry.
Meanwhile, the Yale YDL325 Series focuses on interior spaces such as bedrooms, home offices, and storage rooms. Available in square and circular variants, the model supports app control and fingerprint access with simplified installation requirements.
The expansion of product tiers reflects how security brands are increasingly segmenting smart home products for different budgets and household needs.
Smart safes and app integration complete the ecosystem
Philippine smart home market continues growing
According to figures cited during the launch, the Philippine smart home market is projected to reach approximately USD 350 million by 2030, with smart security solutions expected to grow steadily over the coming years.
Yale positions itself as a legacy security brand adapting to this shift by combining traditional physical security with app-based convenience and automation.
The event also featured actress and lifestyle personality Isabel Oli-Prats as the #MySmartYaleHome ambassador, helping demonstrate how the products integrate into daily household routines.
Introductory promos run through May
To support adoption, Yale and True Value introduced promotional pricing across several smart home products throughout May.
Among the highlighted offers are discounted pricing for the Yale Luna Elite+, Yale Uno, Yale YDL325 Series, and Yale Solis Safe lineup, alongside bundle promos and installation perks.
The Smart Yale Home pop-up remains open until May 31, 2026, at Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City.
