Cebu-based Webmasters Esports (WE) secured the Visayas regional championship in realme Mobile Cup (RMC) Season 10, beating 63 other teams to book the first spot in the season’s grand finals.
The team completed its regional run with a 2-0 victory in the best-of-three finals at SM Seaside City Cebu over the weekend. WE will now await the winners of the Luzon and Mindanao regional legs.
Webmasters Esports claims Visayas crown
The Cebu regional leg brought together 64 teams competing for a spot in the RMC Season 10 grand finals.
After making it through the competition, Webmasters Esports closed out the regional championship series with a clean 2-0 sweep, earning the first regional title of the season.
The result puts WE one step away from the RMC Season 10 championship, with two more regional champions still to be determined.
Luzon and Mindanao regionals are next
The RMC Season 10 qualifiers continue with the remaining two regional legs. The Luzon Regionals will take place on August 29 at SM City San Lazaro, followed by the Mindanao Regionals on September 6 at SM Lanang Premier.
Like the Cebu leg, each regional tournament will feature 64 teams, with the respective champion earning a place in the grand finals alongside Webmasters Esports.
With the Visayas spot already secured, the focus now shifts to Luzon and Mindanao as teams compete for the remaining grand-final slots.
RMC Season 10 offers ₱1 million prize pool
Beyond the regional titles, teams are also competing for a share of the ₱1 million RMC Season 10 prize pool.
The eventual champion will receive ₱250,000 in cash and ₱125,000 worth of realme products. Other top-performing teams will also receive cash prizes and realme smartphones, while the season MVP will receive additional realme prizes.
The grand finals will bring together the champions from Cebu, Luzon, and Mindanao to determine the RMC Season 10 winner.
Who will join Webmasters Esports?
Webmasters Esports is currently the first team through to the RMC Season 10 grand finals after taking the Visayas championship.
The next two regional tournaments will determine which teams join WE in the final fight for the title, with the Luzon Regional on August 29 followed by the Mindanao Regional on September 6.
