TCL Electronics is expanding its TV lineup in the Philippines with the launch of the A400 Series, alongside a month-long promotional campaign tied to its 26th anniversary.
The move highlights TCL’s continued push into premium display technologies like QD Mini-LED, while offering aggressive pricing across multiple models.
The promo runs from April 15 to May 15, covering both new releases and existing TV models across authorized retailers.
TCL A400 Series brings QD Mini-LED and design-focused TVs
At the center of the launch is the A400 Series, which introduces TCL’s QD Mini-LED technology to more accessible price points.
Key features include a quantum Dot-enhanced color accuracy, and improved local dimming versus traditional LED panels, and a higher brightness and contrast performance.

The series also leans heavily into design, featuring an ultra-thin form factor. It also has a light walnut-inspired frame and a matte anti-reflective display for a “canvas-like” effect.
This positions the A400 Series not just as a TV, but as part of the growing “lifestyle display” category—similar to how brands are blending home decor with entertainment tech.
Anniversary TV deals target midrange and premium buyers
To drive adoption, TCL is bundling the launch with discounted pricing across several models:
- A400M QD Mini-LED TV – ₱32,995 (from ₱41,190), exclusive to Abenson
- 55-inch A400 Pro – ₱34,995 (from ₱42,190), available at SM Appliance Center
- 55-inch UHD Google TV – ₱22,995 (from ₱29,990) with free soundbar
- 55-inch TCL C6K Google TV – ₱30,995 (from ₱40,990)
The pricing strategy reflects a broader industry trend: bringing premium display technologies like Mini-LED closer to midrange price segments.

Why QD Mini-LED matters in today’s TV market
QD Mini-LED is emerging as a key battleground in the global TV space, offering a middle ground between standard LED and OLED.
Compared to traditional LED TVs, it delivers a better contrast through localized backlighting. It also has more accurate colors via Quantum Dot layers and improved brightness for well-lit environments.
For brands like TCL, which compete heavily on value, pushing this technology into lower price tiers helps differentiate against rivals in the Philippine market.
TCL strengthens its position in the Philippine TV segment
The launch of the A400 Series reinforces TCL Electronics’ strategy of combining aggressive pricing with feature-rich displays.

By pairing new hardware with limited-time discounts, the company is targeting:
- First-time TV upgraders
- Households moving to larger screens
- Users looking for design-forward displays
As competition intensifies among global TV brands, campaigns like this highlight how pricing, availability, and bundled offers remain key factors in influencing buying decisions.
With QD Mini-LED technology, design-focused builds, and competitive pricing, the brand continues to blur the line between midrange and high-end TVs—especially during key retail periods like anniversary sales.
