TCL has retained its position as the No. 1 panel TV brand in the Philippines for the third consecutive year, according to the 2025 Annual Cumulative Market Share Report by TRS Research.
The recognition, based on nationwide brick-and-mortar retail sales throughout 2025, underscores TCL’s continued leadership in one of the country’s most competitive consumer electronics markets and reflects sustained demand from Filipino consumers. The latest milestone adds to TCL’s growing presence in the global television market.
TCL extends local and global momentum
According to market research firm Omdia, TCL ranked first worldwide in shipments of 75-inch-and-above TVs and Mini LED TVs in 2025. The company also maintained its leadership in Google TV shipments for the fifth consecutive year, spanning 2021 to 2025.
“Being recognized as the Philippines’ No. 1 Panel TV Brand for the third consecutive year is a significant milestone for TCL and a reflection of the trust that Filipino consumers continue to place in our brand,” said Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines.
“This achievement inspires us to keep pushing the boundaries of innovation while making premium technologies more accessible to every Filipino household.”
TCL introduces Super-QD Mini LED technology
Building on its latest achievement, TCL is expanding its premium television lineup with the introduction of Super-QD Mini LED (SQD-Mini LED) technology.
The new display technology combines precise backlighting, improved color accuracy, higher brightness, and deeper contrast to deliver a more immersive viewing experience.
TCL said SQD-Mini LED represents its next-generation display platform, reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing premium television technology.
Its flagship TCL X11L, described as the world’s first SQD-Mini LED flagship television, received the Innovative Display Technology Gold Award during the Global Top Brands (GTB) Awards at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
The awards are organized by International Data Group (IDG) with support from IDC.
Expanding premium home entertainment
Chen said TCL will continue focusing on innovation while making advanced display technologies more accessible to Filipino households.
“Innovation has always been at the heart of everything we do. With Super-QD Mini LED, we’re introducing a new generation of display technology that delivers extraordinary picture quality and a truly immersive viewing experience,” he said.
He added that the company’s “Inspire Greatness” philosophy reflects its commitment to developing smarter technologies that improve everyday living.
