Acer is expanding its hardware lineup beyond traditional PCs with a new ePaper monitor, triple-display extender, portable projector, Android tablets, and 5G connectivity devices unveiled at its next@acer global press conference at IFA 2026.
The new products target different aspects of mobile productivity and entertainment, from paper-like displays for extended reading to three-screen setups for hybrid workers and 5G hardware for homes, businesses, and users on the go.
Acer EP130K brings paper-like visuals to a portable monitor
The Acer EP130K is designed for professionals, readers, and mobile users who spend extended periods looking at documents and other text-heavy content.
Its ePaper panel provides a paper-like, glare-free viewing experience while supporting touch input, including stylus interaction and writing directly with a finger.
The monitor reaches up to 3200 x 2400 resolution at 60Hz and supports both color and black-and-white viewing modes.
A single USB Type-C connection supplies power from the host device, while the display’s bi-stability technology allows the image to remain visible even after its power source is removed.
The EP130K is scheduled to launch in North America, EMEA, and Australia in Q1 2027, starting at US$749.99 in North America.
PD163Q P3 turns one laptop into a multi-screen workstation
For users who need more screen space without carrying a traditional multi-monitor setup, Acer introduced the PD163Q P3 triple screen extender.
The foldable device combines three 15.6-inch Full HD IPS displays into a portable workstation. Each panel can operate independently, with support for extended and cloned display modes.
A single USB-C connection links the extender to a host device, while its foldable construction helps reduce the physical space and cable clutter associated with conventional multi-monitor setups.
When connected to a laptop, the PD163Q P3 can enable up to four total displays, making it particularly suited to hybrid professionals managing multiple applications or information sources simultaneously.
The triple-screen extender will arrive in North America, EMEA, and Australia in Q1 2027, starting at US$349.99.
Acer C350e combines a portable projector with AI features
Acer’s C350e takes a different approach to portable entertainment by combining an LED projector with an AI-enabled companion display.
The projector produces Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, with an 8,000 LED-lumen light source and 350 ANSI lumens of brightness.
Its swivel stand supports 360-degree rotation and 120-degree tilting, while a built-in camera enables autofocus. The projector also includes 2D keystone and four-corner correction for adjusting image distortion.
When it is not being used for projection, the C350e’s detachable AI Badge can display photos and widgets while enabling AI-powered interactions through Google Gemini. The badge also doubles as a remote control.
The C350e is scheduled to launch in EMEA in Q1 2027, starting at €199.
New Iconia tablets target entertainment and education
Acer is also expanding its Android tablet lineup with the Iconia X16, Iconia X14, Iconia A16, and Iconia A14.
The new X series models feature 16-inch and 14-inch displays, respectively, and are powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processors with Android 16.
Both feature OLED displays with 1920 x 1200 resolution, metal chassis, and two USB Type-C ports. One port supports video input, while the other handles charging and data.
Screen casting also allows users to connect the tablets to another display or device, with Acer positioning the models for schoolwork, streaming, gaming, and family entertainment.
Optional accessories include a stylus and attachable keyboard, while the tablets retain Acer’s tripod-style kickstand design.
The Iconia A16 and A14 target a more entry-level segment, switching to IPS displays while retaining the MediaTek Helio G80 platform and dual USB Type-C connectivity.
The new Iconia X and A series tablets are scheduled to become available in North America and EMEA in Q4 2026.
Acer Connect brings 5G to homes and laptops
Acer also introduced two new connectivity products aimed at different use cases.
The Acer Connect X6ES is a 5G CPE router designed for homes and businesses that need an alternative or backup to traditional broadband.
It combines 5G and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity with intelligent failover, automatically prioritizing the best available connection. The router also supports 4×4 MIMO, the 6GHz spectrum, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Security features include WPA2/WPA3 encryption, firewall protection, SIM locking, and VPN support.
The Connect X6ES will launch in EMEA in Q1 2027 starting at €299.
Meanwhile, the Acer Connect D5P is a compact 5G dongle designed to give laptops and compatible devices high-speed mobile connectivity through USB Type-C.
The dongle supports eSIM, nano SIM, and vSIM configurations and can reach download speeds of up to 3.27Gbps in 5G Standalone mode and 2.77Gbps in Non-Standalone mode.
The D5P is scheduled to launch in North America in December 2026 starting at US$299.99, followed by an EMEA release in Q1 2027 starting at €249.
Acer broadens its portfolio beyond PCs
Acer’s latest IFA lineup shows the company pushing further into products designed around mobile work, entertainment, connectivity, and everyday computing.
From the paper-like EP130K and portable three-screen PD163Q P3 to the AI-equipped C350e and new 5G hardware, the company is targeting consumers who increasingly need technology that can adapt to different environments and workflows.
Acer has not announced Philippine pricing or availability for these new products at this time, with the initial rollout focused on North America, EMEA, and Australia.
