Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, the latest addition to its flagship Galaxy S26 lineup and the first model in the series to ship with One UI 9 out of the box. The new Fan Edition smartphone focuses on camera upgrades, Galaxy AI features, and long-term software support while keeping the device thinner and lighter than Samsung’s standard flagship models.
The Galaxy S26 FE combines a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a 4,900mAh battery, a triple-camera system with 3x optical zoom, and Samsung’s latest AI-powered software tools. In the Philippines, the smartphone starts at ₱46,990 for the 128GB model.
Galaxy S26 FE focuses on cameras and AI
Samsung is positioning the Galaxy S26 FE as a more accessible entry into the Galaxy S experience, with several camera and AI features previously introduced on higher-end devices.
The phone features an enhanced triple rear-camera setup with 3x optical zoom, alongside a 12MP front camera for selfies and group shots. Samsung’s Nightography processing is also designed to improve low-light photography.
For video, My FanCam automatically tracks a selected subject and keeps them centered as they move through the frame. The Galaxy S26 FE also supports Super Steady with Horizontal Lock for smoother and more level footage.
Photo editing is handled by Photo Assist, which lets users make changes through natural-language prompts. Meanwhile, Gemini Omni can create and edit video clips using photos and videos stored in the Gallery.
One UI 9 brings more contextual Galaxy AI
The Galaxy S26 FE is the first device in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9, giving it access to Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features from day one.
The updated Now Brief provides more personalized information through customizable cards, including weather and wellness updates. Users can also create their own cards using prompts.
Samsung has expanded Now Nudge to select third-party apps and notifications, allowing the feature to surface suggestions based on what’s happening on the device.
Circle to Search with Google also gets an update, allowing users to search for multiple objects within a single image rather than identifying them one at a time.
6.7-inch AMOLED display and 4,900mAh battery
The Galaxy S26 FE comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display supporting refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The combination is aimed at everything from gaming and streaming to browsing and creative work.
A 4,900mAh battery powers the device, while 45W wired charging can take it to up to 69% in around 30 minutes, according to Samsung.
The phone also focuses on longevity beyond its hardware. Samsung promises up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, putting the Galaxy S26 FE among the company’s longer-supported smartphones.
Smart Switch makes moving to Galaxy easier
Samsung is also updating the setup experience for users moving from another smartphone.
The upgraded Smart Switch can transfer data wirelessly through a QR code, including passwords and passkeys, call history, accessibility settings, and eSIM data. Samsung says the process does not require additional apps.
The Galaxy S26 FE also introduces a new Warranty and Care settings hub through One UI 9, providing a central location for Samsung Care+ and other device support options.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price and availability in the Philippines
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is now available at Samsung Experience Stores nationwide, with Samsung.com availability scheduled for September 11. It comes in Blueberry, Graphite, and Pistachio.
Philippine pricing starts at ₱46,990 for 128GB, while the 256GB and 512GB variants cost ₱53,990 and ₱67,990, respectively.
Samsung is offering introductory discounts until November 30, including ₱7,000 off the 512GB model and ₱5,000 off the 256GB variant. Buyers can also get up to 15% off through select bank partners for up to 36 months, as well as up to ₱6,000 in guaranteed trade-in savings.
With the Galaxy S26 FE, Samsung is continuing the Fan Edition approach of bringing flagship cameras, Galaxy AI, and long-term software support to a lower price tier. Its combination of One UI 9, a large 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 4,900mAh battery makes it a direct option for users who want the latest Galaxy software without moving to Samsung’s highest-priced models.
