Skyro is tapping into the back-to-school season with a new promotional campaign that gives Filipino students and families a chance to win ₱100,000 in cash, positioned as a year’s worth of “baon” or daily school allowance support.
Running from June 1 to July 31, 2026, the promo targets customers who secure approved gadget financing for smartphones, tablets, or laptops through the Skyro lending platform.
Promo ties gadget financing to student financial support
Skyro’s campaign links its core lending services to back-to-school needs, where demand for devices typically rises ahead of the academic year.
Customers who get an approved product loan within the promo period will automatically receive one raffle entry, which qualifies them for the ₱100,000 cash prize pool intended for education-related expenses such as daily school allowance (“baon”), transportation costs, food expenses, and school supplies and materials.
Skyro positions the initiative as a way to ease financial pressure on families while supporting students’ access to learning tools.
How students and parents can join the raffle
Skyro streamlined the participation process through its digital platform to make entry accessible for loan applicants.
To join, customers must apply for an approved gadget loan (phone, tablet, or laptop), visit Skyro’s official promo portal or scan the QR code, fill out the required details, and submit their entry before August 5, 2026.
The promo is tied directly to loan approval, making gadget financing the primary entry requirement rather than a separate purchase mechanic.
₱100,000 grand prize and DTI-supervised draw
Skyro will hold the grand raffle draw on August 11, 2026, under the supervision of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), ensuring compliance with promotional standards.
Key dates include a promo period from June 1 to July 31, 2026, an entry deadline on August 5, 2026, a grand draw on August 11, 2026, and a winner announcement on August 17, 2026.
Three winners will be selected and notified via registered email, mail, and Skyro’s official social media channels.
Expanding fintech role in education financing
Skyro frames the campaign as part of its broader role in gadget financing and consumer lending, especially during seasonal spending spikes like the school year.
According to Skyro’s marketing head, the initiative aims to reduce financial stress for families while enabling students to focus on academics with the help of essential devices.
As competition in the Philippine fintech lending space intensifies, promotions like this highlight how digital lenders are increasingly positioning themselves not just as credit providers, but as partners in everyday financial planning for Filipino households.
