Honor of Kings Philippines continues to expand its community-driven activities with a major appearance at FanFes 2026 and the launch of a new in-game event called “Vroom Vroom with Friends.”
The initiatives highlight Tencent’s ongoing push to strengthen the game’s local player ecosystem through creator collaborations, live fan activities, and reward-driven multiplayer events.
Honor of Kings headlines FanFes 2026 with creator showmatch
Honor of Kings served as a co-presenter during FanFes 2026, held from May 16 to 17 at SPACE at One Ayala in Makati.
The event featured a dedicated Honor of Kings booth with themed mini-games, community activities, merchandise giveaways, and creator meet-and-greet sessions.
One of the main attractions was a live 5v5 creator showmatch featuring Filipino gaming personalities including Butters, John Weak, Kapitana, Leomiho, Een, Sh1n Boo, Skwid, Liam Lerio, Chano, and Buunja. PKL shoutcasters Osiris and GG Sphere handled live commentary during the exhibition match, which showcased themed maps, skins, and collaboration content currently available in the game.
Fans also participated in 1v1 challenges and received exclusive Honor of Kings merchandise such as collectible pins and cards.

HOKPLUS update teased during community event
During FanFes 2026, Honor of Kings also previewed its upcoming HOKPLUS update.
According to the announcement, the update will introduce four new heroes, gameplay improvements, and playability adjustments for nearly 90 heroes.
More details are expected during the official HOKPLUS Preview scheduled for May 25.
The update signals one of the game’s larger balance and content refreshes since Honor of Kings’s Philippine expansion efforts intensified earlier this year.
“Vroom Vroom with Friends” event runs until June 2
Following FanFes, Honor of Kings launched “Vroom Vroom with Friends,” a limited-time in-game campaign running from May 20 to June 2, 2026.
The event centers around cooperative play and referral-based progression, encouraging players to queue with friends and complete eligible 5v5 matches.
Players can earn HOK Benefits Coin Fragments through activities such as sharing and using invite codes, playing eligible 5v5 matches, and completing matches with referred friends.
Collected fragments can later be converted into HOK Benefits Coins, which can be redeemed for real-world rewards through the game’s Benefits Page.
Exclusive in-game rewards available

Players who activate the HOK Benefits Rewards System using an Invite Code within Honor of Kings will unlock several exclusive cosmetic rewards, including an exclusive HOK Benefits Title, Avatar Frame, Static Emote, and one-time retrieval of stored coin fragments.
Eligible matches exclude Practice, Simulation, and Custom game modes.
The event continues Honor of Kings’s strategy of combining online engagement with offline community experiences as competition in the Philippine MOBA market continues to intensify.
