Maya has expanded its Maya Personal Loan offering by increasing the maximum borrowing limit to ₱400,000, giving eligible users access to larger financing through a fully digital application process.
The update aims to simplify access to personal loans by allowing borrowers to apply directly through the Maya app without submitting paperwork or collateral, with approved funds deposited straight into their Maya Wallet.
Higher borrowing limit for larger financial goals
The increased loan ceiling is designed to help Filipinos finance major expenses, including business expansion, home improvements, education, and other long-term financial goals.
Eligible users can now borrow up to ₱400,000 through Maya Personal Loan, with repayment terms of up to 48 months and fixed monthly installment payments.
Maya said that the longer repayment period allows borrowers to spread payments over several years, making larger loan amounts more manageable.
Fully digital application through the Maya app
Unlike traditional personal loan applications that often require physical documents and multiple bank visits, Maya Personal Loan is integrated directly into the Maya ecosystem.
Users can apply digitally through the Maya app without providing collateral or submitting paper documents. Once approved, loan proceeds are credited directly to the user’s Maya Wallet.
According to Maya, this fully digital application process is designed to simplify loan processing while allowing users to access financing without visiting a physical branch.
Digital lending continues to grow in the Philippines
The latest update reflects the continued expansion of digital financial services in the Philippines, where fintech platforms are increasingly offering fully online alternatives to traditional banking products.
By integrating borrowing within its digital wallet ecosystem, Maya allows eligible users to manage loan applications, fund disbursement, and repayments through a single platform.
Loan approval and available credit limits remain subject to Maya’s credit evaluation process.
Interested users can check their eligibility and available offers through the Maya app or learn more through Maya’s official website. Maya Philippines, Inc. and Maya Bank, Inc. are regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
