Lenovo expands Hybrid AI across PCs, smartphones, enterprise devices at IFA 2026

Lenovo is expanding its Hybrid AI strategy from a broad technology vision into a wider lineup of devices, software integrations, and enterprise tools, unveiling new products and concepts at Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026 in Berlin.

The announcements cover personal AI across PCs, smartphones, tablets, and wearables, alongside new Yoga and Idea devices, Think business hardware, Motorola smartphones and wearables, and concepts exploring more adaptable forms of mobile computing.

Lenovo and Motorola Qira expands across devices

One of the central updates is the expansion of Lenovo and Motorola Qira, Lenovo’s personal ambient intelligence platform, to more devices, applications, and services.

Eligible Lenovo PCs with 16GB of memory will gain Qira support, expanding availability beyond higher-memory configurations. Select Edge, Razr, and signature Motorola devices are also set to receive Motorola Qira with the Android 17 upgrade.

The moto watch ultra will become the first Motorola wearable to support Qira on compatible devices.

Lenovo is also working with Workato to expand supported Qira experiences across everyday services, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar.

The goal is to let users move from intent to action across services without treating each application as an isolated experience.

Yoga lineup targets creators and AI workloads

Lenovo’s refreshed Yoga portfolio focuses on local computing, natural input, and cross-device workflows.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 introduce NVIDIA RTX Spark technology to the premium Yoga lineup, while the Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Gen 2 extend Lenovo’s pen-focused approach to Android tablets.

Lenovo also showed the Smart Canvas Concept, which explores how users could capture and develop ideas across compatible Lenovo devices using voice, pen, camera, and touch inputs.

For mainstream consumers, Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad Vibe series with seven color options and flexible configurations, alongside the IdeaCentre AIO i, a redesigned all-in-one desktop for work, learning, and entertainment.

Lenovo brings Hybrid AI deeper into business hardware

The company’s commercial portfolio targets organizations at different stages of AI adoption.

The ThinkCentre X Ultra and ThinkCentre M75 Series desktops are designed to provide scalable local AI performance, while the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 and ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 offer mobile professionals different approaches to on-device AI and productivity.

Lenovo also introduced new ThinkVision displays with features spanning conferencing, docking, eye comfort, and device management.

On the security side, ThinkShield TraceLock, powered by Absolute Security, and Prompt Security, a SentinelOne company, are designed to provide additional device visibility, control, and AI governance capabilities for organizations.

Concept devices explore more flexible computing

Beyond products headed for the market, Lenovo is using its IFA showcase to explore alternative approaches to mobile computing.

Project AeroBlade Concept investigates sustained performance in a thin, fanless mobile PC, while Project Swan Concept explores a notebook that can expand into a wider workspace when users need additional screen real estate.

Both concepts reflect Lenovo’s broader focus on adapting computing hardware to different work environments rather than keeping users within traditional laptop form factors.

Motorola adds smartphones and wearables

Motorola’s new lineup extends the broader ecosystem beyond PCs and tablets.

The motorola edge 70 plus features a quad-curved design, a 200MP camera system, a long-lasting battery, and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform.

The moto watch ultra combines Polar fitness and wellness insights with Wear OS by Google, LTE eSIM support, and Motorola Qira compatibility on supported devices. Motorola also introduced the moto snap wireless charger, which adds magnetic wireless charging support for select devices.

The company is also expanding its Brilliant Collection with the motorola razr with Crystals by Swarovski, featuring a PANTONE Meteorite finish and hand-positioned Swarovski crystals.

From personal AI to enterprise deployment

Lenovo’s IFA 2026 announcements show the company’s Hybrid AI strategy across several layers of its portfolio: personal AI that follows users across devices, local AI processing for PCs, connected productivity tools, enterprise hardware, and security technologies.

Rather than treating AI as a feature limited to individual products, Lenovo is positioning its ecosystem around devices and services working together across personal and business environments.
