NetEase Games and ZhuRong Studio have launched the half-year anniversary update for Sword of Justice in Southeast Asia, headlined by a collaboration with Muay Thai world champion Phetjeeja and the debut of the new “Female Ironclad” school.
The update adds new story chapters, expanded PvE and PvP content, anniversary rewards, and a recurring weekly event as the MMORPG continues to grow its player base across the region.
Phetjeeja collaboration headlines anniversary update
The biggest addition in the anniversary patch is the introduction of the Female Ironclad school, a close-range martial arts class built around aggressive frontline combat and durability.
To support the launch, Sword of Justice partnered with Muay Thai world champion Phetjeeja, whose fighting style and career resilience align with the class’ identity. NetEase confirmed that future updates will include champion-inspired combat actions created through motion capture technology, bringing movements based on Phetjeeja’s techniques into the game.
The collaboration also reflects Sword of Justice’s continued push into Southeast Asia, where combat sports and martial arts culture remain deeply popular among gaming communities.
New story chapters continue the “Inner Realm” arc
The update introduces a new storyline titled “Return to the Clouds,” which serves as the opening chapter of the game’s “Inner Realm” narrative series.
Players will explore the mystery surrounding the ancient instrument “Chiba” while meeting new companions and progressing through additional martial arts-focused content. The expansion continues the game’s emphasis on cinematic storytelling within its open-world MMO structure.
Since launch, Sword of Justice has positioned itself as a non-pay-to-win MMORPG with AI-driven NPC interactions and large-scale exploration inspired by 12th-century China.

Heroic PvE challenges and Arena content expand endgame
NetEase also expanded the game’s endgame activities with Heroic difficulty versions of “Peak Realms” and “Mirror Sky Pavilion.”
The new PvE encounters focus heavily on coordinated teamplay and mechanical execution, raising the challenge level for experienced groups. Competitive players also receive new Honor Challenges tied to Arena and Leisure activities, offering additional prestige rewards during the anniversary celebration.
The patch arrives at a time when MMORPGs in Southeast Asia continue leaning into long-term live-service updates to retain active communities through seasonal progression and recurring events.
“Lucky Thursday” rewards begin for SEA players
Alongside the gameplay additions, Sword of Justice launched a new recurring reward campaign called “Lucky Thursday.”
Every Thursday, players can claim bonuses including 1,000 Ornate Jade and a 50 percent outfit coupon, adding another progression incentive for regular players.
The game currently supports multiple languages including English, Thai, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese across Android, iOS, and PC platforms.
The half-year anniversary update signals a continued content cadence for Sword of Justice as NetEase strengthens the game’s presence in Southeast Asia.
With new schools, expanded PvE systems, esports-adjacent martial arts collaborations, and ongoing live-service support, the MMORPG continues building toward a more competitive and socially driven endgame ecosystem for regional players.
