Jollibee Philippines secured two Bronze awards at the 25th PR Awards Asia-Pacific, earning recognition for campaigns that leveraged gaming and education to engage Filipino consumers.
The fast-food giant received honors in the Esports/Gaming and PR Event categories, highlighting the brand’s efforts to connect with younger audiences through gaming while promoting literacy and values education among children.
Jollibee GameJoy Combos Recognized in Esports and Gaming
Jollibee won a Bronze award in the Esports/Gaming category for its Jollibee GameJoy Combos campaign.
The initiative combines food purchases with gaming rewards through a partnership with gaming payments platform UniPin. Customers who purchase select GameJoy Combo meals receive GameJoy Credits Mystery Cards, which can be redeemed for in-game credits across thousands of supported online games.
The campaign reflects a growing trend among consumer brands to tap into gaming culture as esports and online gaming continue to attract large audiences in the Philippines. By linking meal purchases to gaming rewards, Jollibee created a promotional program designed to resonate with digitally connected consumers.
Kids Values Meals Campaign Earns PR Event Award
The company also received a Bronze award in the PR Event category for its Kids Values Meals initiative, developed in partnership with Adarna House.
The program promotes literacy and values education by including educational storybooks with every Kids Values Meal purchase. The books highlight core Filipino values such as honesty, respect, generosity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship.

Each meal package includes food, a storybook, an activity sheet, and a reward sticker, creating an interactive learning experience designed to encourage reading and character development among children.
Beyond education, the initiative incorporates a social impact component, with a portion of proceeds allocated to classroom construction projects across the country. By combining learning materials with community support, the program seeks to extend its impact beyond individual households and contribute to broader educational development efforts.

The awards were presented by the PR Awards Asia-Pacific, an annual program organized by Campaign Asia-Pacific that recognizes outstanding communications campaigns, agencies, and industry professionals across the region.
