Filipino MSMEs selling online now have access to a new set of creative tools as Lazada Philippines partners with Canva to launch the Lazada Seller Hub, a resource designed to help merchants create marketing content for their eCommerce stores.
Launched in August, the Seller Hub gives Lazada sellers access to ready-made templates for product promotions, brand storytelling, and major shopping campaigns. The partnership also aims to expand sellers’ access to design education and other resources as competition in Philippine eCommerce continues to grow.
Lazada Seller Hub brings campaign-ready templates to sellers
The new Seller Hub combines Canva’s design tools with Lazada’s seller ecosystem, giving merchants a more accessible way to produce visual content without requiring extensive design experience.
The platform currently includes general templates available to Lazada sellers, along with seven campaign-specific templates for merchants participating in Lazada sale events.
New campaign-ready templates are expected to roll out during future campaign periods, allowing sellers to prepare promotional materials around major shopping moments without having to create every asset from scratch.
For smaller businesses, the move addresses one of the practical challenges of selling online: maintaining a consistent and professional visual presence while managing limited time and resources.
Creative tools become part of the eCommerce competition
Product selection and pricing remain important factors in online shopping, but presentation can also influence how shoppers discover and evaluate products. For MSMEs competing alongside larger brands and established sellers, accessible design tools can help them communicate their offerings more effectively.
The Lazada-Canva partnership therefore goes beyond providing templates. The companies are also exploring training workshops, dedicated Canva courses through Lazada University, and special subscription offers to strengthen sellers’ digital and creative skills.
Lazada University already provides educational resources covering areas such as content creation, operations, fulfillment, and platform policies.
“Seller success is at the heart of Lazada’s business,” said Alvin Ching, Head of General Operations at Lazada Philippines. “By making quality creative resources more accessible and more relevant to our campaigns, we are helping sellers show up more confidently, engage shoppers more effectively and make every opportunity on Lazada count.”
Canva brings design tools closer to Filipino businesses
For Canva, the partnership extends its design ecosystem into the day-to-day operations of eCommerce sellers.
Small businesses often have to handle marketing, product management, customer service, and fulfillment with limited resources. Ready-to-use templates can reduce some of the time and effort required to create promotional materials while allowing merchants to maintain a more consistent brand identity.
“For many small businesses, every piece of content is an opportunity to introduce their brand, build trust and connect with a customer,” said Laura Kantor, Country Manager at Canva Philippines.
The companies’ planned workshops and learning programs could further shift the initiative from a template library into a broader seller education program.
Supporting the growth of Philippine MSMEs online
The partnership comes as Filipino businesses continue to expand their presence across digital marketplaces. For MSMEs, eCommerce platforms provide access to customers beyond their physical locations, but that opportunity also comes with greater competition for visibility.
By combining Lazada’s marketplace and seller infrastructure with Canva’s creative tools, the Seller Hub aims to address one part of that challenge: helping merchants produce timely and engaging content for their online storefronts and campaign participation.
As Lazada and Canva develop additional training and resources, the partnership highlights how creative skills and digital commerce are increasingly becoming interconnected for Philippine MSMEs.
The Lazada Seller Hub is now accessible to sellers, with additional campaign templates and initiatives expected to roll out over succeeding campaign periods.
