Basketball fans in the Philippines are getting a rare opportunity to meet two of the sport’s biggest legends as vivo Philippines brings NBA champion Jason Kidd and WNBA icon Lauren Jackson to Manila on August 28.
The exclusive vivo Meet & Greet with Jason & Lauren will take place from 5 PM to 6 PM at the vivo Concept Store in SM Megamall Building B, featuring an on-stage conversation, fan interactions, and a special meet-and-greet for selected attendees.
Only 15 fans will be chosen for the in-person experience. Each selected fan will receive an official photo opportunity with Kidd and Jackson, along with a signed poster.
How to join the vivo meet-and-greet
Fans who want a chance to meet the basketball legends can join through the official vivo Philippines Facebook post.
Participants need to follow vivo Philippines on Facebook, comment “vivo Meet & Greet with Jason & Lauren” on the designated post, and include #vivoxNBA and #vivoX300Ultra.
The event will be hosted by KC Montero, who will sit down with Kidd and Jackson to discuss their careers and experiences in basketball.
Two basketball legends in one Manila event
Jackson brings one of the most decorated careers in women’s basketball to the Philippines.
The Australian basketball star is a three-time WNBA MVP, two-time WNBA champion, five-time Olympic medalist, FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup champion, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer. She also returned to international competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics following an eight-year absence from basketball.
Kidd, meanwhile, is an NBA champion, 10-time NBA All-Star, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer.
One of the NBA’s most accomplished point guards, Kidd built his playing career around elite court vision and playmaking before transitioning into coaching.

The livestream will showcase the event captured using the vivo X300 Ultra. Fans can click “Going” on the Facebook event and enable notifications to receive an alert when the livestream begins.
vivo will also hold a separate online giveaway, where viewers can comment “vivo Meet & Greet with Jason & Lauren” and use #vivoxNBA and #vivoX300Ultra for a chance to win NBA merchandise.
