Samsung is expanding its smartwatch lineup in the Philippines with the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, bringing expanded health monitoring, fitness tracking, and wellness insights to users with different activity levels.
Both models integrate with Samsung Health and use the company’s BioActive Sensor to turn data from sleep, workouts, heart activity, and daily routines into more accessible health insights.
Samsung Health puts health data in one place
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 offer several tools designed to help users monitor changes in their health and fitness over time.
Available features include Sleep Apnea, which provides insights into potential breathing disruptions during sleep; Vitals, which establishes a personal health baseline and flags significant deviations; and Heart Health Score, which provides an overview of cardiovascular wellness.
For training and recovery, users can also access Daily Cardio Load and Fitness Index, while Hearing can alert users to potentially unsafe noise exposure. Rather than relying on a single metric, Samsung’s approach combines information from different aspects of a user’s routine to provide a broader view of wellness.
Galaxy Watch9 focuses on everyday wellness
The Galaxy Watch9 is positioned as the more everyday-oriented option, with a lightweight aluminum body and Samsung’s cushion-shaped design.

It comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with battery capacities of 390mAh and 445mAh, respectively. The display can reach up to 3,000 nits, helping keep information visible during outdoor activities.
The smartwatch is powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, supporting continuous health monitoring while maintaining the performance needed for everyday smartwatch functions.
The Galaxy Watch9 starts at ₱22,990 for the 40mm Bluetooth model and ₱24,990 for the 44mm version. LTE variants are priced at ₱25,990 and ₱27,990, respectively.
Galaxy Watch Ultra2 targets outdoor activities
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 takes a more rugged approach, targeting users who spend more time running, hiking, diving, and participating in other outdoor activities.
Its Trail Run mode tracks factors such as elevation, climbing progress, and terrain impact. Nutrition Alert can also estimate sweat loss relative to body weight to provide hydration guidance during demanding activities.
For water-based activities, the smartwatch carries 10ATM, IP69K, and EN13319 certifications and can automatically track diving information including depth, duration, and water temperature.

Samsung also equipped the Ultra2 with an 800mAh battery and a display capable of reaching 5,000 nits. Its titanium casing, lighter bands, and slimmer profile are designed to make the rugged smartwatch more suitable for extended everyday wear.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is available in 47mm, with Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray finishes, starting at ₱44,990.
Up to 15% savings and 0% installment offers
Both smartwatches are now available through Samsung Authorized Stores, Samsung.com/ph, and participating online retailers.
Samsung is offering promotional discounts and installment plans, including up to 15% savings with 0% installment for up to 36 months using UnionBank or Metrobank credit cards. Customers using EastWest, BDO, BPI, Security Bank, PNB, HSBC, or Chinabank credit cards can also get up to 11% savings with 0% installment for up to 24 months.
With the Galaxy Watch9 focused on everyday health tracking and the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 built around more demanding outdoor use, Samsung is giving Filipino users two different approaches to wearable wellness while keeping both within the broader Samsung Health ecosystem.
