BYD Cars Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, has opened reservations for the all-new BYD Atto 2 and the updated BYD Seal 5 ahead of their official Philippine launch on July 28, expanding the brand’s growing lineup of new energy vehicles (NEVs).
The two models will debut during a launch event at the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City, with pricing and introductory offers to be announced on the same day.
BYD Atto 2 arrives with EV and plug-in hybrid options
First unveiled during the Manila International Auto Show 2026, the BYD Atto 2 expands BYD’s local SUV lineup with multiple powertrain options aimed at a broader range of buyers.
The compact SUV will be offered in three variants: the BYD Atto 2 EV Premium, the BYD Atto 2 DM-i Premium, and the BYD Atto 2 DM-i Dynamic.
By offering both fully electric and DM-i plug-in hybrid versions, BYD aims to provide customers with greater flexibility based on their driving needs and charging preferences.

The Atto 2 is positioned as an entry point into electrified mobility for first-time EV buyers, young professionals, and families.
Updated BYD Seal 5 adds refreshed design and features
Joining the Atto 2 is the refreshed BYD Seal 5 DM-i, which builds on the current sedan with updated styling and additional features. The new Seal 5 will be available in two variants: Dynamic and Essential.
Powered by BYD’s DM-i hybrid technology, the sedan is positioned as an alternative for motorists seeking improved fuel efficiency while retaining the convenience of conventional refueling.
The model is expected to appeal to first-time car buyers, families, and fleet operators looking to transition to electrified vehicles without concerns over charging infrastructure.
BYD continues to expand its NEV lineup
The addition of the Atto 2 and updated Seal 5 reflects BYD’s continued push to broaden its electrified vehicle portfolio in the Philippines as consumer interest in EVs and hybrid vehicles grows.
Customers can now reserve either model through BYD dealerships nationwide or register their interest through the official BYD Cars Philippines website before the July 28 launch.
