Anna Norrevik, Development Director for Battlefield 6, has been confirmed as a headline speaker for Nordic Game Spring 2026 (NG26). The annual industry conference will take place from May 26 to 29 at the Slagthuset.
During the event, Norrevik will present a main stage session titled “Battlefield 6 – How Four Studios Created a Turning Point for the Iconic Franchise.” The talk will explore the development process behind one of the biggest game launches of 2025 and how its creators approached revitalizing the long-running shooter franchise.
Behind the Development of Battlefield 6
Norrevik’s session will highlight how Electronic Arts coordinated development across four studios: DICE, Criterion Games, Motive Studio, and Ripple Effect Studios.

The presentation will cover lessons learned from earlier entries in the series, the role of community feedback during development, and the importance of refining the franchise’s core gameplay loop. Norrevik will also discuss the challenges of managing large-scale collaboration across multiple international teams while delivering a blockbuster release.
According to Jacob Riis, Program Director at Nordic Game, Norrevik’s leadership during the reveal and launch of Battlefield 6 makes her perspective particularly valuable for attendees looking to understand how large-scale projects are executed in modern game development.
More Speakers Confirmed for NG26
Norrevik joins a growing lineup of speakers for Nordic Game Spring 2026. Previously confirmed presenters include Jennifer Svedberg-Yen, Lead Writer at Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive.
Additional speakers from Embark Studios are also set to appear, including Virgil Watkins (Design Director), Gerardo Basurto (Product Director), and Moa Naess (UX Researcher).
