HUAWEI Launches Mate X7, MatePad 11.5 S 2026, FreeClip 2
Huawei unveiled its latest premium devices during a “Technology x Fashion” launch event held February 19 at The Fifth at Rockwell in Makati.
Headlining the showcase was the new HUAWEI Mate X7, alongside the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026 and HUAWEI FreeClip 2. The event highlighted Huawei’s continued push to merge high-end aesthetics with advanced consumer technology.
HUAWEI Mate X7: Flagship Foldable with Durability Focus
Positioned as the brand’s “King of Foldables,” the Mate X7 emphasizes durability and flagship-level camera performance. The device features 360-degree protection with aerospace-grade materials across its inner and outer screens, hinge, and frame.
It carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for water and dust resistance, supporting fresh water depths of up to two meters and hot water exposure up to 80°C.
On the imaging front, the Mate X7 introduces a True-to-Colour Camera system. It includes a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR Camera with 17.5 EV dynamic range and a 50MP Telephoto Macro Camera designed for both landscape and close-up photography.
The foldable unfolds into an 8-inch display and supports Live Multitask for running up to three app windows simultaneously. It houses a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge support.
The Mate X7 is priced at PHP 119,999 and is available for pre-order from February 19 to 26, 2026 via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, the HUAWEI Online Store, and HUAWEI Experience Stores nationwide.
HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 S 2026: 4-in-1 Productivity Tablet
Also introduced was the MatePad 11.5 S 2026, positioned as a portable productivity solution. The tablet supports a PC-Level WPS Office 3.0 suite with advanced math functions and improved document handling.
It is compatible with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard, HUAWEI M-Pencil (3rd Gen), and HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse, transforming it into a 4-in-1 mobile workstation.
The device features a 2.8K PaperMatte Display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by an 8800mAh battery with 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.
The MatePad 11.5 S 2026 is available from PHP 29,999 to PHP 31,999 starting February 19 until March 22. Early bird vouchers and bundled freebies were also offered during the promo period.
HUAWEI FreeClip 2: Open-Ear Audio with Extended Battery
Completing the lineup is the FreeClip 2, Huawei’s open-ear wireless earbuds. It features an Airy C-Bridge design built with shape-memory alloy and liquid silicone materials.
The earbuds are powered by an NPU AI processor and dual-diaphragm drivers, with a three-microphone call noise cancellation system. They carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.
Battery life is rated at up to 38 hours with nine hours of continuous listening time on a single charge.
The FreeClip 2 is priced at PHP 9,999 and is now available through Huawei’s online platforms and retail stores nationwide.
