LG Debuts Modular Sound Suite with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect at CES 2026
LG Electronics unveiled the LG Sound Suite at CES 2026, a modular home audio system designed to deliver immersive Dolby Atmos sound with unprecedented flexibility.
At the heart of the system is the H7 soundbar, the world’s first to feature Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, which adapts audio to any room layout without complicated setup.
Modular Design Offers 27 Configurations
The LG Sound Suite allows consumers to pair wireless components, including the M7 and M5 surround speakers and W7 subwoofer, with or without the H7 soundbar, creating up to 27 possible configurations. Users can start small or expand to a full 13.1.7-channel home theater.
When the H7 soundbar leads the setup, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect works with any TV via HDMI. LG plans to extend FlexConnect to select 2025 models and its 2026 premium TVs through a future software update.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect Brings Immersive Audio to Any Space
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect simplifies home audio by delivering room-adaptive, high-fidelity sound. It enhances movies, music, sports, and gaming experiences by making explosions more impactful, dialogue clearer, and music more lifelike. LG’s wireless system integrates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy streaming and device pairing.
Smart AI Tuning and Sound Personalization
The system incorporates LG’s Sound Follow technology, which uses ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning to adjust the audio sweet spot according to the listener’s location. Room Calibration Pro further analyzes room acoustics and applies AI processing to optimize sound for a balanced, room-filling experience.
Powered by α11 AI Processor Gen 3
The H7 soundbar runs on LG’s α11 AI Processor Gen 3, previously used in LG’s flagship OLED TVs. The processor employs deep learning and its Neural Processing Unit to deliver precise sound, including AI Sound Pro+ for spatial up-mixing and AI-powered object separation to keep voices, music, and effects balanced.
Audio adapts to content type for an optimized listening experience across movies, music, and gaming.
Premium Acoustic Components
All LG Sound Suite components feature Peerless speaker units, known for high-performance audio craftsmanship.
Combining these speakers with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and AI-driven tuning allows the system to provide cinematic audio with flexible placement, without the complexity of traditional home theater setups.
