The Epson CO-FH02 Smart Projector is presented by Epson as a way for Filipino families to bring large-screen entertainment into living rooms, condo function rooms and other enclosed gathering spaces. The company says the compact Full HD projector can support celebrations ranging from birthdays and children’s parties to weddings, debuts, Christmas gatherings and family movie nights.
The announcement comes as more families choose to manage celebrations themselves instead of relying on a coordinator or a large rented ballroom. According to Epson, social media, online shopping platforms and ideas that can be recreated at home are helping families plan occasions around the spaces available to them.
A screen for milestone moments
Epson says the CO-FH02 Smart Projector can be used to show Same Day Edits, childhood montages, photographs, presentations and messages from relatives who cannot attend in person. In a function room or smaller indoor venue, families can project these materials onto a larger surface without setting up an elaborate audiovisual system.
The same setup can also support video calls, allowing relatives overseas or elsewhere to join a gathering on a larger screen. Guests can share photos during an event, while the projector can later be used for karaoke, party games or a playlist.
For children’s parties, Epson presents the projector as another way to use a living room or function room. A gaming console can connect to it, turning a blank wall into a larger gaming display for titles such as Mario Kart and Just Dance. The arrangement allows children, cousins and friends to take part together rather than gather around a television or individual handheld devices.
Home entertainment beyond one occasion
Epson also points to Christmas as another use case. Families can project Christmas films, old family videos, festive scenes or song lyrics during December gatherings. A larger display can give people around a dining table a way to see and interact with a loved one joining through a video call.
The projector can also be moved to condo function rooms, small clubhouses and other suitable indoor shared spaces for movie nights, game days, casual get-togethers and sports watch parties. Epson lists the unit’s weight at 2.6 kilograms, allowing it to move between a living room and another indoor setting.
Features and Philippine availability
Epson says the CO-FH02 delivers 3,000 lumens of color and white brightness through Epson’s 3LCD technology. Its Full HD 1080p resolution allows content to be projected at sizes of up to 391 inches, depending on the available space and projection distance.
The Epson CO-FH02 Smart Projector comes with an Android TV dongle and supports Chromecast and Bluetooth audio. These features allow users to stream entertainment, cast compatible content and connect external audio equipment without building an elaborate setup around the projector, according to Epson.
The Epson CO-FH02 Smart Projector is available in the Philippines through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and authorized Epson dealers. Epson positions the device for repeated use beyond a single celebration, including birthdays, holidays, game nights, family movie sessions and other gatherings at home or in shared indoor spaces.
