HUAWEI has opened the HUAWEI nova 16s pre-order in the Philippines, listing the standard 12GB + 256GB model at PHP 29,999 and the nova 16s Pro at PHP 39,999. Announced in Manila on October 30, 2026, the series combines selfie-focused cameras, a 7,000mAh battery, 5G connectivity and EMUI 16, according to the company.
HUAWEI says the listed prices are down from PHP 34,999 for the nova 16s and PHP 44,999 for the Pro. It also says early buyers can receive a PHP 5,000 discount plus a gift bundle worth up to PHP 14,997, for combined savings and freebies of up to PHP 19,997. The HUAWEI nova 16s pre-order is offered through the HUAWEI Online Store and participating e-commerce platforms.
Camera features on the Pro
HUAWEI’s imaging pitch centers on the Pro. The company says its Front True-to-Color Camera detects changes in ambient color temperature to reproduce skin tones, makeup shades and surrounding colors more accurately in complex lighting. The Pro also has a 50MP Ultra Portrait Camera with a 1/2.5-inch sensor and 0.8x–5x Selfie Zoom, covering ultra-wide, 1x, 2x and 5x framing options.
HUAWEI says AI Best Expression selects facial expressions from multiple captures, while AI Move can reposition or resize people and objects. AI De-Glare is intended to reduce reflections from glass and other reflective surfaces. These tools, along with the front-camera claims, form the company’s three-part focus on color, clarity and AI-assisted editing.
Rear camera and battery claims
For rear imaging, HUAWEI specifies a 200MP RYYB Ultra-Large Sensor Main Camera for the Pro, with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and F1.8 aperture. It says the camera’s stabilization helps reduce blur, while 200MP High-Res mode supports cropping into alternate compositions. The company also says Rear True-to-Color Camera technology works across the main, telephoto and wide-angle cameras, and that AI Composition provides real-time framing and subject-placement guidance.
HUAWEI says the series uses optimized network capabilities for quicker reconnection after weak- or no-signal areas. Its IceBridge Heat Dissipation Architecture is presented as helping maintain smooth performance while gaming, streaming or switching apps. The company rates the 7,000mAh battery for up to 29 hours of YouTube playback or 21 hours of TikTok scrolling, and says 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo reaches 40% in 15 minutes.
Display, vouchers and challenge
The Pro has a 6.84-inch Ultra-Bright Display with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness. HUAWEI lists a 7.1mm body weighing 218g, Frosted AG Glass, an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy mid-frame, Kunlun Glass, and IP65 dust and water splash resistance. HUAWEI also says AppGallery provides access to familiar Google services and local apps including GCash, BDO, Shopee and Grab.
For the HUAWEI nova 16s pre-order, a PHP 5,000 voucher on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop starts October 30, 2026, at 12:00 AM. The HUAWEI Online Store’s PHP 5,500 early-bird voucher runs from October 30, 2026, at 12:00 AM until November 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Separately, HUAWEI says its #TrueColorsSelfieChallenge runs on TikTok until November 12, 2026; 50 eligible entries with the highest views will each win a nova 16s Pro.
