PKL Fall 2026 Playoffs format

The Play-Ins use a single-match Best-of-Seven (BO7) elimination format under Ultimate Battle rules. Two teams advance and two teams are eliminated. The successful sides then join BOOM Esports and TNT Tropang Alab in a four-team, double-elimination Playoff bracket. The release describes the Play-Ins as carrying do-or-die implications for the four teams involved.

All Playoff matches will also use BO7 series under Ultimate Battle rules, the release said. With the field reduced to four teams, the double-elimination bracket moves the competition closer to the Grand Final. Only two teams will reach the Grand Final on November 8, 2026, where they will compete for the PKL Fall 2026 championship title and a share of the prize pool.

The release is dated October 30, 2026, and presents the schedule as follows: “The Play-Ins will take place on 29 October, followed by the Playoffs from 30 October to 8 November, before the season culminates during the Finals Weekend on 7–8 November at Samsung Hall, SM Aura, Taguig City.”

Finals Weekend at Samsung Hall

The November 7, 2026, program also includes the Honor of Kings Philippines Women’s Series 4 grand final between HYVE All-Stars and Ikigai Esports. HYVE All-Stars previously won Women’s Series 3 after defeating Malaysia’s AG Global in the championship match. Its roster includes Honor of Kings creator Kcbae as jungler.

On November 8, 2026, the 2026 Honor of Kings Campus Series final will bring together Teletigers Esports Club of the University of Santo Tomas and the University of Cebu. The release describes UC as fielding a mixed roster, while Teletigers enter with a seven-member competitive lineup. Both finals form part of the Finals Weekend schedule at Samsung Hall.

For Philippine Honor of Kings viewers, the PKL Fall 2026 Playoffs provide a Finals Weekend that combines the league title match with women’s and collegiate championship finals. Developed by TiMi Studio Group, Honor of Kings has become the world’s most-played MOBA, according to the company background. In 2025, the combined MAU of Honor of Kings titles surpassed 260 million.
