vivo expands X Series lineup in the Philippines with X300 Ultra, X300 FE

vivo sets to expand its flagship smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the upcoming launch of the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE this May 2026.

The new devices build on the momentum of the vivo X300 Pro and X300, which debuted in late 2025, as the company continues strengthening its position in the premium Android smartphone segment.

Both smartphones focus heavily on mobile photography, battery life, and creator-oriented features, while targeting different types of users — from professional content creators to everyday mobile photographers.

vivo X300 Ultra focuses on professional-grade mobile imaging

The vivo X300 Ultra positions itself as vivo’s top-tier camera flagship, anchored by its ZEISS Master Lenses Collection.

One of its headline features is the 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera equipped with a 200MP sensor, designed to deliver long-range photography while maintaining image clarity and stabilization. vivo also introduces its updated vivo Color Science system, which aims to produce more natural color reproduction alongside customizable imaging controls for creators.

For video creators, the device supports 4K recording at 120fps, 10-bit Log recording, and Dolby Vision video capture across all rear cameras. These additions reflect a growing industry trend where smartphone brands are positioning flagship devices as viable alternatives to dedicated photography and video equipment.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with a 6600mAh BlueVolt battery designed to support extended daily use.

vivo X300 FE brings flagship camera features in a compact design

While the vivo X300 Ultra targets high-end creators, the vivo X300 FE focuses on portability while still retaining advanced imaging features.

The device includes a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera capable of reaching up to a 200mm equivalent focal length, making it suitable for concert photography, travel shots, and long-distance capture. vivo also integrates software-driven creator tools such as Stage Mode, Dual-View Video, and AI Creative Camera features.

These additions reflect how smartphone manufacturers are increasingly embedding AI-assisted editing and content creation tools directly into their camera systems, streamlining workflows for mobile creators.

Despite its slimmer form factor, the X300 FE is equipped with a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery and runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform.

vivo continues push in premium smartphone market

The launch of the X300 Ultra and X300 FE highlights vivo’s continued push into the premium smartphone category in the Philippines.

Camera-focused Android flagships have become increasingly competitive in 2026, with brands differentiating themselves through imaging partnerships, AI-powered features, and creator-focused tools rather than raw hardware alone.

By expanding the X Series lineup, vivo aims to cater to both advanced users seeking professional-grade imaging and mainstream users looking for flagship-level experiences in more compact devices.

Pricing, availability, and launch offers for the vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE are expected to be announced later this month.
