LG Electronics Philippines is expanding its smart home lineup with the launch of the 15/8KG Slim Front Load Combo Washer Dryer.
The new appliance focuses on AI-powered fabric care, faster wash cycles, and space-saving design—key features for urban households managing daily laundry needs.
AI DD and TurboWash 360 power smarter, faster laundry
At the center of the new washer dryer is AI Direct Drive (AI DD), a system that detects fabric type and adjusts washing motions accordingly. This helps reduce wear on clothes while maintaining cleaning performance, a feature increasingly common in premium laundry appliances.
The unit also integrates TurboWash 360, which completes a full wash in as fast as 39 minutes. This positions the model for users who need quick turnaround times, especially during high-frequency laundry periods like summer.
Key performance features include:
- AI DD for adaptive fabric care
- TurboWash 360 for fast washing cycles
- Inverter Direct Drive motor for durability and efficiency

Steam hygiene and pet care address everyday concerns
Beyond speed, LG is targeting hygiene and lifestyle-specific needs. The Steam function reduces up to 99.9% of dust mites, making it suitable for frequently used clothing, bedding, and fabrics exposed to allergens.
The washer dryer also introduces a Pet Care Cycle, designed to handle heavily soiled items and reduce up to 99% of pet odors. This reflects a growing trend in home appliances catering to pet-owning households.
Slim design targets space-conscious homes
The F2515RNEG features a slimmer body while maintaining a spacious drum capacity, offering up to 125mm of space savings. This makes it more viable for condominiums and compact living spaces, where full-sized laundry systems are often impractical.
This design approach aligns with the increasing demand for multi-functional, space-efficient appliances in Philippine urban areas.

Smart controls via LG ThinQ
The washer dryer connects to LG ThinQ, enabling users to monitor laundry status remotely, download additional wash cycles, and track energy usage.
Smart connectivity continues to be a key differentiator in modern appliances, as brands compete to integrate more functions into mobile ecosystems.
With this launch, LG reinforces its position in the premium appliance segment, combining AI features, hygiene-focused technology, and compact design in a single unit.
As households deal with increased laundry loads during summer—driven by outdoor activities, travel, and daily wear—the demand for efficient, all-in-one washer dryer systems is expected to grow.
