LG launches 2026 QNED evo Mini LED TVs, led by new 115-inch ultra-large model

LG Electronics has introduced its 2026 QNED evo Mini LED TV lineup, headlined by a new 115-inch model aimed at sports fans, gamers, and home entertainment users looking for larger-screen experiences.

The new lineup expands LG’s push in the premium LCD TV segment, combining ultra-large display sizes with AI-powered picture processing, gaming-focused refresh rates, and upgraded webOS smart TV features.

LG expands ultra-large TV lineup with 115-inch QNED model

The 2026 QNED evo lineup includes new 115-inch and 100-inch screen options alongside additional Mini LED models across the QNED90, QNED85, QNED82, QNED8M, QNED80, and QNED70 series.

LG positions the 115-inch QNED90 as its flagship model for large-scale viewing, particularly targeting sports and gaming setups where screen immersion plays a major role.

The company says its latest Mini LED technology improves brightness control and contrast performance through Precision Dimming Ultra, which manages thousands of local dimming zones for deeper blacks and cleaner highlights.

AI processor powers picture and sound enhancements

The lineup from LG Electronics uses the Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen 3 to drive several AI-based image and audio features.

Among the upgrades are AI Super Upscaling for enhanced 4K image clarity, Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro for scene-by-scene brightness adjustments, AI Picture Pro for improved object and facial detail, and AI Sound Pro with virtual 11.1.2 surround sound processing.

LG Electronics also introduced Dynamic QNED Color Pro, which helps maintain accurate colors in HDR scenes. The company says the displays are certified for 100 percent color volume by Intertek.

Gaming features target competitive and cloud gaming users

Gaming remains a major focus for the 2026 QNED lineup. The TVs support variable refresh rates up to 165Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Auto Low Latency Mode for smoother gameplay.

Select models also feature Motion Booster technology capable of pushing motion performance up to 330Hz to reduce blur during fast-paced gaming.

LG is also continuing to expand its Gaming Portal platform, which provides access to cloud gaming services and browser-based games directly through the TV interface.

webOS 26 adds sports tracking and AI personalization

The new TVs ship with webOS 26, which introduces additional AI personalization and sports-focused features.

Sports Portal centralizes live scores, schedules, and standings, while Sports Alert delivers notifications for selected teams and leagues without requiring users to switch apps.

Other additions include Voice ID for personalized profiles, AI Concierge recommendations, and integrations with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot for AI-assisted search and information retrieval.

LG says the 2026 QNED evo lineup will begin rolling out this month in Korea, the United States, and Europe before expanding to additional markets later this year.
