Sony has brought its flagship BRAVIA 9 II television to the Philippines, combining its True RGB display technology with advanced picture processing and integrated audio features in a 115-inch screen.
Available through Sony Centres and authorized dealers nationwide, the BRAVIA 9 II uses independently controlled red, green and blue LEDs to improve color reproduction and brightness control. Sony has not disclosed the television’s suggested retail price, which is available upon request.
True RGB technology targets color and contrast
The BRAVIA 9 II uses Sony’s RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro to independently control its red, green and blue LEDs. The system is designed to improve color volume, brightness control and tonal gradation across the display.
Sony pairs the backlight technology with RGB Triluminos Max and Luminance Booster Pro to produce brighter primary colors and a wider range of visible shades. Smooth Color Gradation is also designed to reduce distracting color banding and create more gradual transitions between colors.
These features aim to preserve detail across bright highlights and dark scenes, particularly when displaying content with demanding lighting and color requirements.
Picture processing supports movies, sports and gaming
The television also includes Sony’s XR Clear Image upscaling technology, which is designed to improve lower-resolution content while preserving textures and details.

XR Motion Clarity targets fast-moving scenes, making it relevant for sports broadcasts, action films and gaming. Meanwhile, X-Wide Angle Pro is designed to maintain consistent color and picture quality for viewers sitting away from the center of the screen.
Sony has not provided detailed performance measurements in the announcement, so the real-world differences will depend on the content and viewing conditions.
Built-in audio and smart TV features
For sound, the BRAVIA 9 II features Acoustic Multi-Audio+ with Beam Tweeter, which is designed to align audio with the action on screen. Voice Zoom 3 uses AI-powered processing to improve dialogue clarity without requiring viewers to raise the overall volume.
The television runs Google TV, bringing supported streaming services, applications and other entertainment into one interface. Google Cast and Apple AirPlay 2 also allow users to stream content from compatible devices.
Its design includes a wave-textured bezel and transparent center stand. Owners can also pair the television with compatible Sony BRAVIA Theatre products for an expanded home audio setup.
The Sony BRAVIA 9 II is available in a 115-inch size through Sony Centres and authorized dealers nationwide.
Sony has not announced a suggested retail price, with interested buyers directed to request pricing from the company or its authorized retailers.
